Ian Riccaboni is the host of Ring of Honor Wrestling, calling the action and interviewing your favorite stars each and every week. Riccaboni became the lead broadcaster in February 2017 after joining the broadcast team in July 2014.

A life-long wrestling fan, Riccaboni had a chance meeting with former ECW star The Blue Meanie, who connected Riccaboni to the Monster Factory. Riccaboni would serve as the company’s broadcaster before moving to ROH full-time in 2016. Riccaboni made his Pay Per View debut at Best in the World 2016, calling a Fight Without Honor between BJ Whitmer and Steve Corino and called his first full Pay Per View event at Ring of Honor’s 15th Anniversary alongside Kevin Kelly and his future television commentary partner, Colt Cabana.

Riccaboni graduated NYU with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s in Education Management. He worked in various broadcast roles before reaching ROH, including on public access broadcasts in his hometown of Allentown, Pa., as an NPR news reader in Orlando, Fla., making appearances on MTV, and as a writer, producer, and correspondent on Phillies Nation TV on Comcast SportsNet.

In September 2015, Riccaboni’s book, “The 100 Greatest Phillies of All Time,” reached No. 1 on Amazon’s baseball chart. The combination of the success of his book, broadcasting, and education led him to teach at Holy Family University, where he teaches Introduction to Sports Media. In 2017, Riccaboni and his family moved to his hometown of Allentown where they are ardent Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Phantoms fans.
