“La Bestia Boricua” Dan Maff returned to Ring of Honor in November 2019, handpicked by Colt Cabana to face future ROH World Champion PCO in the Main Event of ROH Unauthorized. Maff’s name would be called one night earlier in Pittsburgh as an emergency replacement for an injured Brody King. Following two impressive showings on back-to-back nights, a man that competed on the very first ROH card impressed ROH officials and signed a deal to compete with ROH 14-years after his final match!

Maff is tough as nails, remaining active following his recovery from a 2005 car accident that required him to relinquish the ROH World Tag Team Championships, titles he held two times with BJ Whitmer. Maff has persisted and finds himself with the experience and conditioning to top any foe. His devastating Burning Hammer has finished off many opponents, including the 2010s Wrestler of the Decade Jay Lethal at Free Enterprise.

Maff formed an alliance built on honor and respect with follow heavyweight Jeff Cobb coming out of their showdown at Final Battle 2019 and the two have proven to be a force quickly in the tag team division as Maff remains a threat in singles and tag team action.
