QUICK RESULTS

-- Punishment Martinez defeated Dobbs

-- Coast 2 Coast (LSG and Shaheem Ali) defeated War Machine (Hanson and Rowe)

-- SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) defeated Bullet Club (Cody, Marty Scurll and Adam Page)

RECAP

Video from last week’s show: SoCal Uncensored hired Shane Taylor to keep Bullet Club members from interfering in their business in the ring later in the show. After The Young Bucks defeated Best Friends and Dragon Lee and Titan in a three-way match, SoCal Uncensored hit the ring and ambushed the Bucks. While SoCal Uncensored was delivering a beatdown in the ring, Taylor was attacking Marty Scurll backstage. Adam Page, brandishing a chair, hit the ring and SoCal Uncensored retreated.

Punishment Martinez vs. Dobbs

Martinez, the man who is owed an ROH World Title shot for having won Survival of the Fittest in November and laid out world champion Dalton Castle three weeks ago, sent a message to Castle by putting his dominance on display against the severely overmatched Dobbs, a young man making his ROH debut. Martinez made quick work of Dobbs, finishing him off with the South of Heaven chokeslam.

Castle came to the ring after the match and stood across the ring from Martinez. Martinez took a swing at Castle, but the champion ducked and counterted with a t-bone suplex. Martinez rolled out of the ring and chose to walk away.

Coast 2 Coast (LSG and Shaheem Ali) vs. War Machine (Hanson and Rowe)

Coast 2 Coast, frustrated with their inability to score a major victory in 2017, announced last month that they would end their partnership if they didn’t win their next match. Last week on Coleman’s Pulpit, Caprice Coleman informed Coast 2 Coast that they would be facing former ROH and IWGP Tag Team Champions War Machine this week.

Faced with a do-or-die situation, Coast 2 Coast took the fight right to War Machine right from the start. War Machine eventually gained control and took full advantage of their significant size and strength advantage.

In an amazing display of resolve and resilience, however, Coast 2 Coast took all of War Machine’s best shots and simply refused to lose. Coast 2 Coast even kicked out of War Machine’s devastating Fallout finisher, which shocked War Machine and sent the crowd into a frenzy. As War Machine set up for a second Fallout, Ali wriggled free and rolled up Rowe for a three count while LSG prevented Hanson from making the save.

After the match, War Machine shook hands with Coast 2 Coast and raised the victors’ arms.

Beer City Bruiser introduces his new partner

Beer City Bruiser said the “manly” World Television Title reign of his buddy Silas Young inspired him to find a tag team partner to go after the ROH World Tag Team Titles. That man is super heavyweight Brian Milonas.

Bully Ray says goodbye

Speaking publicly for the first time since he and Tommy Dreamer lost a brutal, bloody New York City Street Fight to The Briscoes at Final Battle last month, Bully Ray said that Final Battle was indeed his final battle. In a symbolic gesture, Bully brought his wrestling boots with him and left them in the ring.

ROH and Women of Honor competitors came out to the ring to salute Bully. As the crowd chanted, “Thank you, Bubba,” Jay Lethal got into the ring and thanked Bully for all he had done to help ROH as a company and the competitors individually.

SoCal Uncensored (Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. Bullet Club (Cody, Marty Scurll and Adam Page)

Bullet Club was seeking retribution for SoCal Uncensored’s sneak attack on The Young Bucks last week, but the recently formed trio of Daniels, Kazarian and Sky were ready for the challenge.

After a fierce back-and-forth match that saw Cody being busted open, Bullet Club seized control, including Page hitting a spectacular moonsault off the top rope onto Sky outside the ring. Page’s ankle hit the guardrail upon impact, but he appeared to be OK. After Page got back in the ring, however, he took a Lung Blower from Kazarian, a right hand from Daniels and a flying knee from Sky, who covered him for the win.

THEY SAID IT

“I should put this stipulation on myself every match!”

-- Color commentator Colt Cabana on Coast 2 Coast’s self-imposed do-or-die scenario after Shaheem Ali miraculously kicked out of War Machine’s Fallout finisher

“Who’d have thought Draco Malfoy could wrestle?”

-- Matt Taven, sitting in on commentary during the main event, on Cody’s blond hair

“You, my friend, are a diamond in a haystack, a needle in the rough.”

-- Beer City Bruiser to new partner Brian Milonas

“New York is where I was born, but as a professional wrestler, Philadelphia is where I was born. In October of 1995 in this very building, Bubba Ray Dudley was born. This is the ring I should leave my boots in. This is the arena I should leave my boots in. And there’s no doubt in my mind that this is the city that I should leave my boots in. I thank you for everything. Thank you, Lord, for thinking about me. I’m alive and doing fine.  Do you know who I am? I’m Bully Ray, and it has been my honor.”

-- Bully Ray, saying farewell inside Philadelphia’s 2300 Arena

“Bully, you have done things in the wrestling business and for the wrestling business that some of us will only dream of, but you still helped us. I have never used this term before, but there is a term for people like you in the wrestling business. They are called legends, and you are a legend. … I speak for this entire roster, that whole locker room, every member of the greatest production team in the world, every office member. We scream it loud and from the bottom of our heart, dammit: Thank you!”

-- Jay Lethal, paying tribute to Bully Ray
