-- Adam Page defeated Christopher Daniels

-- ROH World Champion Dalton Castle and Jay Lethal defeated Punishment Martinez and Marty Scurll

Jay and Mark Briscoe vs. Best Friends (Beretta and Chuckie T.)

The Briscoes, who had ruined Best Friends’ shot at the ROH World Tag Team Titles last month when they attacked Beretta and Chuckie T. and The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) during their title match, picked up right where they left off, jumping Best Friends before the opening bell. Best Friends rallied and scored a couple of near falls, but The Briscoes prevailed after Jay hit the Jay Driller on Beretta and Mark followed with a Froggy Bow.

After the match, The Motor City Machine Guns hit the ring and attacked The Briscoes. Having reached their breaking point after being assaulted by The Briscoes in recent weeks, Shelley and Sabin showed an uncharacteristically violent side, as Shelley choked out Mark with a chain and Sabin hit the Jay Driller on Jay. Expect an all-out war when the Machine Guns put their titles on the line against The Briscoes this Friday, March 9 on the 16th Anniversary pay-per-view.

Christopher Daniels (w/Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky) vs. Adam Page

ROH  enforcer Bully Ray came out before the match began and said that he had instructed members of Bullet Club and SoCal Uncensored not to be at ringside. He said Bullet Club obviously were the only ones who listened, and he gave Kazarian and Sky five seconds to leave or Daniels would forfeit the match and be suspended for 30 days. Kazarian and Sky quickly complied.

Page showed why he was voted the Breakout Star of 2017, as he was the aggressor for the majority of the match and finished off the former ROH World Champion with the Buckshot Lariat.

After the match, hired gun Shane Taylor entered the ring and KO’d Page. Daniels taunted the fallen Page and celebrated with Taylor, saying, “That’s the best money I ever spent.” Bully Ray came to the stage and had words with Daniels. As Taylor walked past Bully, the two bumped shoulders and had a brief staredown.

Punishment Martinez and Marty Scurll vs. Dalton Castle (w/The Boys) and Jay Lethal

Both teams had communication issues, which should come as no surprise since both sets of partners will be opponents at the ROH 16th Anniversary pay-per-view this Friday, March 9. At one point, Lethal went for a pump kick on Scurll in the corner, but Scurll ducked it and Lethal inadvertently nailed Castle.

Later in the match, Scurll had the momentum and was setting up for the chicken wing on Lethal, but Martinez tagged himself in. Martinez landed a Psycho Driver and curb stomp on Lethal for a near fall. Martinez then set up for the South of Heaven chokeslam, but Scurll returned the favor and tagged himself in.

While the referee was distracted, Scurll attempted to throw powder in Lethal’s eyes, but Lethal ducked and the powder went into Martinez’s face. After Castle clotheslined Martinez over the top rope, Lethal hit Lethal Injection on Scurll and pinned him.

After the match, Lethal and Castle exchanged words as Lethal pointed at the ROH World Title belt that Castle was holding up.

“They’re not interested in handshakes, they’re not interested in cheers. They’re interested in their family and Sandy Fork, Delaware because it’s Sandy Fork versus everybody.”

-- Color commentator Colt Cabana on The Briscoe’s current attitude

“Obviously the Bullet club listened, and for that I give you a two-sweet.”

-- ROH enforcer Bully Ray on Bullet Club following his directive not to accompany Adam Page to ringside, unlike SoCal Uncensored’s Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky, who came out with Christopher Daniels

“No, you can’t do it. I can do it all day long.”

-- Bully Ray to Adam Page after Page “too-sweeted” him back

“It’s the last main event before the 16th Anniversary. I’m taking on Martinez and Marty. I’ve got World Championship on my shoulder, a bellyful of spectacular soup and a tag partner named Jay Lethal. Well this certainly makes things interesting (laughs).”

-- ROH World Champion Dalton Castle prior to the main event
