Las Vegas certainly was a lucky town for Villain Enterprises over the weekend.
Twenty-four hours after Villain Enterprises’ PCO and Brody King knocked off the Briscoes for the ROH World Tag Team Titles in a bloody and brutal Las Vegas Street Fight on March 15, PCO, King and “The Villain” Marty Scurll won the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles from The Kingdom (Matt Taven, Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan).
The exciting, back-and-forth six-man tag match concluded with Scurll forcing O’Ryan to tap out to the Chicken Wing. The match will air on a future episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling.”
Villain Enterprises are now 10-0 in traditional and six-man tag matches since joining forces in December. PCO and King are just the second duo to simultaneously hold the ROH World Tag Team and World Six-Man Tag Team titles, joining The Young Bucks.
With the trio on such a roll, is Scurll the favorite to capture the ROH World Title in the ladder match between him, champion Jay Lethal and Taven at G1 Supercard at sold-out Madison Square Garden on April 6?
The Kingdom’s third reign as ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions -- which began at Survival of the Fittest in November when they won the titles from The Elite (Cody and The Young Bucks) -- ended at 132 days. Taven, Marseglia and O’Ryan were the inaugural champions and are the only team to have held the titles more than once.
