RECAP

The Kingdom (Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan) vs. Coast 2 Coast (LSG and Shaheem Ali)

Coast 2 Coast, which hasn’t lost a match in 2018, took charge early with their precision teamwork, but Ali made the mistake of celebrating, and O’Ryan nailed him to with a shot to the back of the neck that sent him out of the ring. Marseglia followed up with a neckbreaker on the floor to Ali, whose neck remains less than a hundred percent due to the car accident he was involved in several months ago.

The Kingdom continued to target Ali’s neck and got a near fall after a double flapjack/double senton combination. Ali eventually tagged in LSG, who ran wild on both Kingdom members, but Marseglia and O’Ryan used double-team tactics to halt his momentum. Later, after a series of counters between Ali and O’Ryan, Ali dropped down and rolled up O’Ryan for the victory.

Marseglia and O’Ryan were irate at the referee for counting the pin, as Marseglia was the legal man. They attacked the referee and then took out a bunch of security guys. The Kingdom Conspiracy continues?

Shane “Hurricane” Helms vs. Marty Scurll

Helms demanded a rematch after Scurll scored a dubious victory in their first meeting. The match between the superhero and “The Villain” was a stalemate early before Scurll gained the advantage with a European uppercut, superkick and suicide dive in succession. He went on to hit a brainbuster for a near fall and a Ghostbuster for another near fall. Helms blocked a tornado DDT on the floor and hit an overhead Northern Lights suplex on the floor.

Back inside the ring, Scurll hit a Rainmaker -- the finisher of his opponent at last months’ All In show, Kazuchika Okada -- for a two count. Scurll delivered a low blow behind the referee’s back and followed with Helms’ own Eye of the Hurricane maneuver for a near fall. Scurll went for La Magistral Cradle, but Helms caught Scurll’s leg and shifted his weight to land on top him. Helms held Scurll down for the three count.

Now that Helms has evened the score with Scurll, the “rubber match” will take place at Glory By Honor: Baltimore this Friday, Oct. 12 and will air live on HonorClub.

Cheeseburger has fighting words for Will Ferrara

In a backstage segment, Cheeseburger said that Ferrara used to be his brother, friend and tag partner, but now he’s none of those things. He said Ferrara claims that he stole opportunities from him, but he wanted to share those opportunities and capture gold with Ferrara. Cheeseburger said that he’s going to enjoy hurting Ferrara when they meet in a Fight Without Honor.

Fight Without Honor: Will Ferrara vs. Cheeseburger

Ferrara sent his partner, Rhett Titus, to the back during his entrance. As soon as the opening bell sounded, the two former friends, who have been bitter enemies for the past year, ferociously went at each other. After Ferrara gained the advantage, he whipped Cheeseburger with a belt and choked him with it. Cheeseburger eventually got the belt and returned the favor. Cheeseburger wrapped the belt around Ferrara’s throat on the apron, but as Ferrara dropped down, Cheeseburger’s right hand hit the steel turnbuckle.

Cheeseburger went for Shotei, but Ferrara raised a chair and Cheeseburger inadvertently hit it, doing further damage to his hand. Ferrara then nailed Cheeseburger’s back with the chair and covered him for a near fall. Ferrara again went to use the chair as a weapon, but Cheeseburger superkicked it into Ferrara’s face. Cheeseburger then DDT’d Ferrara onto the chair for a near fall.

Cheeseburger pulled out a table from under the ring, but Titus came out and attacked him from behind. Titus attempted to suplex Cheeseburger off the apron and through the table, but Eli Isom and Ryan Nova came down to the ring and thwarted him. Cheeseburger superkicked Titus into a double powerbomb from Isom and Nova that put him through the table. Ferrara grabbed a chain and tried to hit Cheeseburger with it, but Cheeseburger used a chair to block it. Cheeseburger picked up the chain, wrapped it around his hand and nailed Ferrara with Shotei for the win.

THEY SAID IT

“ Will, all I want in this world is to hurt you. I’m going to hurt you. I’m going to enjoy doing it -- in a Fight Without Honor.”

-- Cheeseburger prior to his showdown with former friend Will Ferrara
