“Ring of Honor Wrestling” #398
Airdate: Weekend of May 4, 2019
Location: Stage AE in Pittsburgh

-- PJ Black defeated Eli Isom (w/Cheeseburger and Ryan Nova)

-- WOH World Champion Kelly Klein defeated Ray Lyn

-- LifeBlood (Mark Haskins and “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams) defeated The Kingdom (TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia)

Eli Isom (w/Cheeseburger and Ryan Nova) vs. PJ Black

Black took control of the fast-paced match by targeting Isom’s upper body. Isom came back with a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Isom went for a springboard move, but he slipped off the top rope and landed hard in the ring. Black hit a super hurricanrana followed by a springboard 450 for a near fall. Black finished off Isom with a moonsault into a double stomp.

Both men adhered to the Code of Honor after the bout.

WOH World Champion Kelly Klein vs. Ray Lyn

Before the match began, Lyn grabbed a microphone and said that she doesn’t like or respect Klein and will never shake her hand. Klein got off to a fast start, Lyn weathered the storm and went on the offensive. Lyn went for a crossbody off the top rope, but Klein caught her and launched her with an overhead slam. Klein then hit K-Power for the victory.

After the match, Klein told Lyn that now she will respect her. Lyn had no choice but to shake Klein’s hand.

Klein got on the microphone and said that she’s proud to be WOH World Champion and she will be a fighting champion. She said regaining the title at Madison Square Garden was the greatest moment of her career, but that moment was stolen by women who care about attention, while she cares about wrestling.

The Allure’s Mandy Leon and Velvet Sky walked down the ramp. As Klein faced them, Allure member Angelina Love came up behind her. Klein turned around into a pump kick from Love. Jenny Rose came out to try to make the save, but Leon DDT’d her. Sky painted  an “A” on Rose’s forehead with lipstick.

Video highlight: RUSH steamrolls Dalton Castle at G1 Supercard

After RUSH defeated Castle in just 16 seconds at Madison Square Garden, Castle snapped and attacked The Boys.

Dalton Castle wants to talk to The Boys

Castle came to the ring and said he owes some people an explanation, and he wants to say it to their faces. He called out The Boys. They came out and cautiously entered the ring. Castle said that what happened at MSG was a mistake and he shouldn’t have taken his frustrations out on them. He said what they had was special and he wants to get past it.

The Boys hugged Castle. Castle said he would never put his hands on his Boys again. Then he said, “Because these two are no Boys of mine,” and he viciously attacked them. Castle removed the masks from The Boys and exited.

The Kingdom (TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia) vs. LifeBlood (Mark Haskins and “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams)

Haskins and Williams gained the early advantage, but O’Ryan and Marseglia isolated Williams and removed his shoulder brace. Williams eventually tagged Haskins, who ran wild on both Kingdom members. After Williams tagged back in, he hit a frog splash on O’Ryan for a near fall. Haskins got O’Ryan in the Sharpshooter and then leaned back on it to add more pressure. O’Ryan tapped out.

After the match, Williams called out Bully Ray. Bully came out to the stage and sarcastically asked if they’re made about Tenille, who Bully put through a table backstage two weeks ago. Bully headed towards the ring, then abruptly told them to “go to hell” and briskly walked to the back.

“They care about attention; I care about wrestling. They care about their filters and their hashtags and their retweets; I care about wrestling. They care about having their boobs pushed up to their chins; I care about wrestling. Because that’s what Women of Honor is about. Women of Honor is about wrestling.”
