Cold Open: Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham score a tainted victory over the Briscoes to win the ROH World Tag Team Title at Final Battle on Dec. 13.

The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brawler Milonas) vs. Dalton Castle and Joe Hendry

In a pre-taped interview with The Bouncers, Milonas said that Castle and Hendry are great wrestlers, but they’re not on the same page like he and Bruiser are. Bruiser said The Bouncers’ quest for the ROH World Tag Team Title in 2020 begins tonight.

The Bouncers used their weight advantage to take control of the match, but Castle and Hendry rallied. Hendry displayed his impressive strength by hitting a fallaway slam on Bruiser. However, several miscommunications between Castle and Hendry ultimately proved to be their undoing, as The Bouncers hit Last Call on Hendry for the win.

PJ Black and Brian Johnson vs. Master and Machine (Marcus Kross and Griff Garrison)

This is the first time Black and Johnson -- mentor and hostile student, respectfully -- are teaming together. Every time Johnson attempted to cheat, Black stopped him. Black nailed Kross with a superkick. Kross was knocked out, but Johnson was the legal man. Johnson hit an unnecessary fist drop on the already dazed Kross for the victory.

From Final Battle Fallout: No. 1 Contender’s Match: 2 Guys 1 Tag (Silas Young and Josh Woods) vs. Jay and Mark Briscoe

2G1T upset the 11-time former ROH World Tag Team Champions to improve their record to 7-0 and earn a shot at current champions Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham.

The Briscoes were setting up for Doomsday Device on Woods when Lethal came down to the ring to distract the referee while Gresham pushed Mark Briscoe off the top rope to the floor. Woods then hit a rolling wheelbarrow suplex into a bridge on Jay Briscoe for the win.

It appeared that Woods and Young were unaware of the interference by Lethal and Gresham.
