ROH 5 Count: Best Catchphrases

In Ring of Honor, in-ring action has always spoken louder than words, but being able to express oneself orally is a necessary component for competitors to fully connect with the fans. For some ROH stars, a simple, oft-repeated phrase can speak volumes as to who they are and what they’re about.

Here are the top 5 catchphrases of current ROH stars:

5. “I FIND OUT THE TRUTH, AND THE TRUTH WILL HELP YOU TO SEE” -- CAPRICE COLEMAN

Hosted by the charismatic Coleman, “Coleman’s Pulpit” has been an entertaining addition to Ring of Honor over the past year. The talk show segment, which airs on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” and ROH’s YouTube channel, features Coleman conducting revealing interviews with the top stars in ROH. Coleman has shown that he’s not afraid to stir the pot in his effort to elicit the truth from his guests and enlighten the audience.

4. “I’M MATT TAVEN” -- MATT TAVEN

The Kingdom leader’s resume is certainly impressive, as he’s held every championship in ROH except the ROH World Title. However, his success seems to have given him a sense of entitlement, thus his penchant for repeatedly announcing to the world that he’s Matt Taven to get his points across. Then again, what would one expect from a guy who not only believes he’s wrestling royalty, but also is convinced that there’s a vast conspiracy against him and his Kingdom?

3. “DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?” -- BULLY RAY

It wasn’t all that long ago that Bully Ray posed that question during his emotional retirement speech. His answer was: “I’m Bully Ray and it has been my honor.” Fast-forward to Supercard of Honor a few months ago. After turning on Cheeseburger, an enraged Bully bellowed, “Do you know who I am? I’m a WWE Hall of Famer.” And then he placed his Hall of Fame ring on his finger and powerbombed the defenseless Cheeseburger. Unfortunately, we know all too well exactly who Bully Ray is.

2. “THIS IS THE WORST TOWN I’VE EVER BEEN IN” -- SOCAL UNCENSORED

There’s certainly nothing wrong with being proud of where you’re from, but that doesn’t mean you have to disparage literally every place you travel to. That’s exactly what Southern California residents Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky do when they go on the road for ROH. When ROH Wrestling.com recently asked Daniels which town is truly the worst he’s ever been in, the vitriolic veteran replied, “Unless they're in Southern California, they’re tied for worst. All of them.”

1. “BULLET CLUB IS FINE” -- CODY

Cody’s repeated declaration during his feud with fellow Bullet Club member Kenny Omega never rang true, as their battle for leadership forced others in the group to choose sides. However, Cody and Omega shockingly buried the hatchet after their epic match at New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s recent G1 Special, and the two of them, The Young Bucks, Marty Scurll and Adam Page became one big happy family again. Finally, Bullet Club really was fine -- but only for a moment. Shortly after the reconciliation, The Firing Squad -- a faction of Bullet Club led by Tama Tonga -- attacked them, igniting a new Bullet Club civil war
