Here’s the latest ROH news and notes:
I’m hearing there is a strong chance the fourth member of Villain Enterprises will be revealed during Best in the World weekend, at either the pay-per-view on June 28 in Baltimore or the international television taping on June 29 in Philadelphia.
There has been a lot of speculation as to the identity of the new member and whether they are already on the Ring of Honor roster or if they’re coming in from another promotion or perhaps even another country, but Villain Enterprises' Marty Scurll, PCO and Brody King have been extremely tight-lipped on the matter. …

The Soldiers of Savagery also will be appearing in Philadelphia. Moses and Kaun made their shocking debut on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” last month by laying out LifeBlood’s Bandido, Mark Haskins and Tracy Williams. A few weeks later, SOS attacked Haskins and Williams again prior to the LifeBlood duo’s match against Bully Ray and Shane Taylor. They also helped Bully and Taylor take out PJ Black, who had entered the ring to try to save Haskins and Williams. …
A week after Black took a bullet for Haskins and Williams, the three of them teamed up to defeat Shinobi Shadow Squad (Cheeseburger, Eli Isom and Ryan Nova), which earned them a shot at ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions Villain Enterprises at the Best in the World pay-per-view in Baltimore. 3S, which is now 11-3 (a .786 winning percentage) in six-man tag action, is hoping to get a shot against the winners. …

Have you voted for ROH’s 2019 Match of the Year (So Far) yet? It was difficult to narrow it down to one, but just like ROH play-by-play announcer Ian Riccabonni, I ended up voting for the 60-minute draw between then-ROH World Champion Jay Lethal and Matt Taven at ROH’s 17th Anniversary Show in March. Not only was the match a drama-filled instant classic, but it solidified Taven’s status as one of the very best wrestlers in the sport.
