Iron Men Jay Lethal, Jonathan Gresham Earn Shot At Tag Team Gold

Jay Lethal has held the ROH World Title for more days than anyone. He also has held the ROH World Television Title for more days than anyone. But Lethal has zero days as an ROH World Tag Team Champion.

That could soon change, however. Lethal and Jonathan Gresham defeated LifeBlood’s Mark Haskins and “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams in a 30-Minute Iron Man Tag Team Match at Masters of the Craft on April 14 in Columbus, Ohio to earn a title match with ROH World Tag Team Champions The Guerrillas of Destiny -- Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa. (Watch the Masters of the Craft replay on HonorClub).

Lethal and Gresham will face G.O.D. for the titles on May 8 when the War of the Worlds tour makes a stop in Buffalo, N.Y. The event will stream live for HonorClub.

Just eight days removed from having his second reign as ROH World Champion ended by Matt Taven in a Triple Threat Ladder Match, Lethal wasted no time getting back in the win column. In a match that was fitting for an event titled Masters of the Craft, Lethal and Gresham edged Haskins and Williams, two falls to one.

Lethal has been focused on singles competition for the majority of his career in ROH, but he and Gresham have teamed several times over the past eight months, and -- not surprisingly -- they’ve been highly successful.

During that span, Lethal and Gresham defeated the likes of The Young Bucks, Jushin “Thunder” Liger and KUSHIDA, Coast 2 Coast, and Haskins and Williams (twice).

Can the two ROH stalwarts defeat New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s G.O.D. in Buffalo to bring the ROH World Tag Team Titles back home? Join us in person or streaming live for HonorClub to find out!
