Honor Rising 2017 Night 2 Results

Honor Rising Night 2 is in the books! The stars of Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro-Wrestling once again did battle with and against one another in Tokyo’s historic Korakuen Hall with championships on the line and an eight-man main event which saw Bullet Club take on CHAOS!

In the opening contest, “Pro Wrestling’s Last Real Man” Silas Young teamed with Jado and defeated the team of KUSHIDA and David Finlay. Young hit Misery and pinned Finlay for the win. In a 10-man tag, Los Ingobernables de Japon defeated the team of Dalton Castle, Delirious, Ryusuke Taguchi, Jushin “Thunder” Liger, and Tiger Mask! EVIL scored the victory for LIJ and the villainous IWGP Intercontinental Champion Tetsuya Naito unmasked Tiger Mask!

Continuing their roll, the team of War Machine, “War Beard” Hanson and Ray Rowe, defeated the Guerillas of Destiny! With a win over the ROH World Tag Team Champion Young Bucks the night before in a non-title bout and a win over the former IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Champions, War Machine now is among the top contenders for both championships and voiced their intentions of capturing the IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships following their victory!

Hangman Page led a Bullet Club trio of Bad Luck Fale, Yujiro Takahashi, and himself over the trio of Hiroshi Tanahashi, Juice Robinson, and Jay Lethal. Page defeated Lethal at Honor Reigns Supreme in Dallas with outside assistance while Lethal picked up a pin on Page in a tag team match. While things are heating up between Cody and Lethal, Page seems to have found his way firmly inside the former ROH World Champion’s head, scoring another victory over Lethal!

Punishment Martinez gave Hirooki Goto everything he had in a NEVER Openweight Championship bout but came up just short of bringing the title to the United States! YOSHI-HASHI of CHAOS challenged Adam Cole of Bullet Club for the ROH World Championship but Cole picked up the victory and will head to Manhattan Mayhem to defend against Bobby Fish as World Champion.

And in the main event, the Bullet Club team of Cody, “The Cleaner” Kenny Omega, and the ROH World Tag Team Champions the Young Bucks defeated IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada, Will Ospreay, and the Briscoes, representing CHAOS! Cody pinned Ospreay following a Cross Rhodes but, despite Bullet Club’s victory, many questions remain unanswered following Night 1’s confrontation between Omega and Cole.
