The ROH Board of Directors have been working overtime signing bouts for the Pay Per View extravaganza. ROH’s most intense feud will reach a violent apex at Best in the World and will be contested with a unique stipulation!

STRAP MATCH

HANGMAN PAGE vs. “HEAVY METAL REBEL” FRANKIE KAZARIAN

In early February, at an international television taping, Frankie Kazarian appeared to turn his back on his best friend and long-time tag team partner Christopher Daniels, joining Bullet Club just as Daniels was to get what he described as potentially his last opportunity to capture the ROH World Championship. But, the fix was in and the self-professed “Smartest Men in the Room” earned the title when Kaz emerged and helped turn the tide of the World Championship bout at 15th Anniversary, earning Daniels his first World Singles championship in his 23-year career, 15 years after competing in the main event of the first ever ROH card!

Needless to say, this did not sit well with Bullet Club. And when you have a problem, what better than to send than a Problem Solver.

Hangman Page would viciously attack Kaz in the parking lot while an unnamed Bullet Club member cowardly filmed the attack for the world to see. Kaz would get a measure of revenge, attacking Page during the eight-man Vegas Wildcard Match. But it would be on ROH Television where Page may have landed the biggest blow: interfering with a steel chair, costing Kaz the ROH World Television Championship in a bout against “The Villain” Marty Scurll. The two tangled in six man tag competition at Masters of the Craft but it wasn’t enough to satiate their pallets for each other’s destruction! Page won what was shaping up to be a wild brawl on Pay Per View at War of the Worlds against Kazarian by using the ropes illegally for leverage as he pinned Kaz.

Page picked up a signature win on ROH television when he defeated the only three-time ROH World Champion Adam Cole, adding to list of impressive pinfall victories. But, not satisfied with just beating Cole, Page tore the belt off of referee Todd Sinclair and began whipping Cole. Having seen enough, Kaz charged the ring and chased off Page before the damage could be done. Now, the two will do battle in a STRAP MATCH, a match brutal enough to settle the score once and for all but also one that could alter either or both men’s careers! This is a match that is bigger than a win or loss as these two will do battle LIVE on Pay Per View!
