Glory By Honor Recap: A Villain Wins Final Battle Tournament, New WOH World Champ Crowned

NEW ORLEANS -- The challenger for the ROH World Title at Final Battle was determined and a new Women of Honor World Champion was crowned during a newsworthy, action-packed Glory By Honor Saturday night at UNO Lakefront Arena.

The Final Battle No. 1 Contender Tournament final was an all-Villain Enterprises affair, with PCO defeating the faction’s CEO, Marty Scurll. With the victory, PCO earned his first shot at the ROH World Championship (currently held by RUSH) at the Final Battle pay-per-view on Dec. 13 in Baltimore.

PCO overcame interference from fellow Villain Enterprises members Brody King and Flip Gordon throughout the match. After it was over, Scurll congratulated PCO on the win and said he deserves to challenge for the world title.

In the semifinals earlier in the show, PCO beat Dalton Castle, and Scurll knocked off Jay Lethal.

Kelly Klein, the only competitor to regain the WOH World Championship, became a three-time champion by defeating The Allure’s Angelina Love.

To the surprise of no one, The Allure’s Mandy Leon interfered on Love’s behalf, but this time Maria Manic showed up to neutralize her. With Leon out of the way, Klein went on to finish off Love, whose reign ended at 15 days.
