Dalton Castle And The Boys Face NJPW Young Lions At TV Taping In Las Vegas

On March 16, the night after ROH’s big 17th Anniversary pay-per-view at Sam’s Town Live in Las Vegas, The Best Wrestling on the Planet returns to the venue for a pivotal international television taping.

What will the fallout be from the pay-per-view? And how will the events of 17th Anniversary weekend impact the historic G1 Supercard at sold-out Madison Square Garden on April 6? Join us LIVE in Sin City to find out!

A six-man tag match has been signed for March 16 pitting Dalton Castle and The Boys against New Japan L.A. Dojo trainees Clark Connors, Karl Fredericks and Alex Coughlin

DALTON CASTLE AND THE BOYS vs. CLARK CONNORS, KARL FREDERICKS AND ALEX COUGHLIN

It’s no secret that things haven't been going well for Castle as of late. To put it more bluntly, 2019 has been an absolute disaster thus far for the former ROH World Champion.

Castle is 0-4 in singles competition in ROH this year and 1-5 in tag matches, with the only victory coming by disqualification when he and The Boys defeated the Briscoes and Shane Taylor in a six-man tag match six weeks ago.

As the losses have mounted, so too has Castle’s frustration. He has done things recently that are uncharacteristic, such as exiting the ring immediately after a loss rather than adhering to the Code of Honor. Castle has even lashed out at The Boys.

With G1 Supercard at sold-out Madison Square Garden just over four weeks away, Castle knows he needs to get some momentum going immediately, starting with the six-man tag match in Las Vegas against Connors, Fredericks and Coughlin.

It won’t be easy, though. Connors, Fredericks and Coughlin may lack experience, but the NJPW Young Lions have an abundance of raw talent and fighting spirit. Even though they did not achieve a victory, they all made a good account of themselves in their matches on the Road to G1 Supercard shows in Texas Jan. 24-26.

Will Castle and The Boys reverse their fortunes in Las Vegas? Or will the Young Lions beat the odds and knock off the former ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champions?
