Bully vs. Burger: No DQ Or Countout In NYC

Officially fired from his post as ROH Enforcer, Bully Ray has turned his attention to whom he perceives to be coddled millennials and young talent who never had to pay their dues and feel entitled. The spark that set off this fire occurred at Supercard of Honor when The Dawgs ruined a tag team match where Cheeseburger was to take on Eli Isom and Cheeseburger. With Bully Ray coming ringside to break up the beatdown and Isom being declared unable to compete, ‘Burger put Bully Ray on the spot and asked him to be his tag team partner.

Bully seemed to oblige and was having fun until he decided enough was enough. The impromptu match turned into the public humiliation of Cheeseburger as Bully Ray turned his outrage to ‘Burger. As Bully Ray threatened to piledrive ‘Burger and end the event per the Louisiana State Athletic Commission’s ban on the move. Bully aired his grievances as he held ‘Burger and the event hostage before COO Joe Koff and Flip Gordon came out to intervene.

Since then, ‘Burger has stood up to Bully Ray at every turn despite it often not being in his best interests. On the War of the Worlds Tour, Cheeseburger has won by count out and disqualification in bouts against Bully Ray but wants those rules waived for their next confrontation.

NO COUNTOUT, NO DISQUALIFICATION

CHEESEBURGER vs. BULLY RAY

Despite his unlikely 2-0 record against the legendary Bully Ray, Cheeseburger has been left for dead twice, suffering and sustaining beatings from the angry Bully Ray and Bully Ray getting himself counted out and disqualified in each of their two first matches.

Bully has been using Burger as a pawn in his larger statement against the younger talent of ROH, beating down the up and coming competitor to prove a point instead of winning matches. Meanwhile, ‘Burger, who wants revenge, also wants to prove to Bully he can do it in the ring and has petitioned the ROH Board of Directors for a match to prove he can beat Bully under any circumstances!

Who will win this grudge match where neither man can win by count out or disqualification? You have to be there in NYC to find out first when The Best Wrestling On The Planet returns to Manhattan Center’s Hammerstein Ballroom for a huge international television taping!
