Briscoes vs Bucks For The Titles At Best In The World

In the Fall of 2017, The Briscoes broke free from their association with Bully Ray, turned their back on him, and the fans. The newly-rediscovered mean streak and intensity pushed them to capture the ROH World Tag Team Championships for a ninth time at 16th Anniversary, breaking their own record and re-affirming themselves as the greatest tag team in Ring of Honor history as they just begin to reach the peak of their career.

In the midst of this, The Young Bucks continue to break their own records. Whether it is box office, t-shirt sales, and more, the tag team that carved their own path as innovators in and out of the ring has seen their stock rise even higher and higher. The duo won a tag team gauntlet in Las Vegas to earn a Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship opportunity against the Briscoes in Pittsburgh. Feeling a fourth ROH World Tag Team Championship was within sight, The Briscoes turned to violence, using chairs on Matt and Nick Jackson, also luring out and leaving the rest of Bullet Club laying, letting The Bucks win the match but not the titles.

In Baltimore, at Best in the World, the two teams meet again. And if The Briscoes hold on to the championships until Best in the World, the bout will be for the title!

RING OF HONOR WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS
ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE BRISCOES (JAY & MARK BRISCOE) vs. THE YOUNG BUCKS (MATT & NICK JACKSON)

The Briscoes and Young Bucks are the two flagbearers of the best tag team division in the world, elevating themselves, the World Tag Team Championships, and the teams around them to the Main Event position all across the world, including stops in the US, Canada, and the UK.

The two teams have seen their profiles and pockets grow all the while their hatred for one another grew larger. The two teams have a career 7-5 record against one another, with the Bucks winning the last three and four out of the last five bouts but they haven’t seen a team quite like these Briscoes.

The Briscoes refer to the ROH World Tag Team Championships as their property and are two of the most dangerous men in ROH, tough enough to trap and beat down Bullet Club with no fear of repercussion. But nobody has ever been hotter than The Young Bucks, whether that be at the box office or in the ring. The Young Bucks head to Baltimore having won the main event of Honor United – Doncaster, defeating The Briscoes, EVIL and SANADA, and The Kingdom!

Will The Young Bucks keep their hot streak against The Briscoes strong and capture the ROH World Tag Team Championships for the fourth time or will The Briscoes bring their violent streak to Baltimore and leave Charm City the Champions? Join us to find out!
