Best Move of the Year: Will Ospreay's OsCutter

There are numerous versions of the cutter in pro wrestling, but Ospreay’s variation -- springboarding off the middle rope into the move -- is arguably the most effective and impressive.

The OsCutter has been pivotal to the success of the 24-year-old phenom from Essex, England, who won the ROH World Television Title from Bobby Fish in his very first match in Ring of Honor in November 2016. The innovative move also has served Ospreay well in New Japan Pro-Wrestling and Revolution Pro Wrestling. He has won multiple titles in those promotions and is the two-time and current holder of NJPW’s prestigious IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship.
