Ring of Honor star Bandido received a hero’s welcome when he made a surprise appearance at CMLL’s show at historic Arena Mexico in Mexico City over the weekend.
After it was announced at the show that Bandido would be working some future events for CMLL, he made his entrance to a loud ovation.
La Nueva Generacion Dinamita (Sanson, Cuatrero and Forastero) came down to the ring to confront him. After Bandido and Sanson challenged each other, the out-numbered Bandido head-scissored Sanson and exited.
Bandido, who was trained by CMLL legend Ultimo Guerrero, began his wrestling career at Arena Mexico.
One of ROH’s breakout stars in 2019, Bandido will team with fellow luchador Flamita to take on “The Villain” Marty Scurll and “The Mercenary” Flip Gordon at ROH’s Final Battle pay-per-view on Dec. 13 in Baltimore.
