RECAP
Non-Title Match: ROH World Television Champion Jeff Cobb vs. Rhett Titus
Cobb was in charge early, but Titus proved to be surprisingly resilient against the undefeated powerhouse. Titus hit a Rocker Dropper for a near fall and got another near fall with a super X-Factor off the middle rope. Cobb answered with a series of gutwrench suplexes and a piledriver. The champion finished off Titus with Tour of the Islands.
Holidead vs. Jenny Rose
Shortly after the match got underway, The Allure (Angelina Love, Velvet Sky and Mandy Leon) came out and chased away the ring announcer and timekeeper and took their seats at ringside. Leon was shooting video on her phone with a selfie stick.
Holidead was was extremely aggressive and in control for the majority of the match, but Rose rallied and hit a Uranage for the victory. After the match, Rose confronted Leon, but Sky sprayed hair spray into Rose’s face.
The Bouncers (Beer City Bruiser and Brian Milonas) and Coast 2 Coast (LSG and Shaheem Ali) vs. The Briscoes, Shane Taylor and Silas Young
The match quickly degenerated into a brawl, with all eight men fighting in and out of the ring. Mark Briscoe, LSG, Young and Bruiser all hit flying moves off the top rope to a group of opponents on the floor.
The Briscoes hit Redneck Boogie on Ali, but Bruiser made the save. Milonas then came off the top with a legdrop onto Mark Briscoe -- who was draped over Bruiser’s knee -- for a near fall. Taylor won the match for his team with Greetings From 216 on Ali.
RUSH vs. Soberano Jr.
RUSH immediately took the match to the outside of the ring, where he threw Soberano into the guardrails multiple times. After tossing Soberano Jr. back into the ring, RUSH connected with Bull’s Horns for a quick, dominant win to remain undefeated.
Four Corner Survival Match: Caristico vs. PJ Black vs. Bandido vs. Flip Gordon
These four pulled out all the stops in what would prove to be the show-stealer. The match had a frenetic pace and featured one spectacular high risk move after another. The most insane move of the match -- and the show -- saw Gordon hit a springboard somersault dive over the top rope and over the guardrail onto his three opponents, who were fighting in the crowd.
Bandido landed a moonsault fallaway slam on Caristico, but Black and Gordon made the save. Bandido came back with 21 Plex on both Black and Gordon, pinning Black for the victory. After the match, all four men received a standing ovation from the crowd.
30-Minute Iron Man Tag Team Match: Jay Lethal and Jonathan Gresham vs. LifeBlood’s Mark Haskins and “Hot Sauce” Tracy Williams
The winner of this bout receives a shot at ROH World Tag Team Champions Guerrillas of Destiny at War of the Worlds on May 8 in Buffalo, N.Y. Haskins and Williams scored the first fall when Haskins forced Gresham to tap out to the Sharpshooter near the 20-minute mark. Lethal and Gresham evened the score when Gresham pinned Williams after a Cornette Cutter with less than four minutes remaining.
Haskins again applied the Sharpshooter to Gresham, but this time Gresham rolled through and pinned Haskins to give him and Lethal a 2-1 advantage with about 1:30 left. Time expired without another fall being scored. This match exemplified what Masters of the Craft is all about.
NWA Worlds Heavyweight Title Match: Champion Nick Aldis (w/Kamille) vs. Colt Cabana
This impromptu match came about due to Aldis -- who was sitting in on commentary with Ian Riccaboni and Cabana at the beginning of the show -- constantly needling Cabana by reminding him that it was the one-year anniversary of Cabana losing to him in a title match in China. Cabana finally had enough and challenged Aldis to a rematch for the title tonight.
This was an evenly contested match until “The Villain” Marty Scurll came down to ringside. Scurll, who has a title shot against Aldis at the Crockett Cup on April 27, grabbed Aldis’ championship belt at ringside. Kamille confronted Scurll, which allowed Aldis to attack him from behind. Scurll and Cabana got into a shoving match, which caused the referee to disqualify Aldis and award the match -- but not the title -- to Cabana. After the match, Scurll nailed Aldis with an umbrella to the face.
Dalton Castle has something to say -- or does he?
Dalton Castle, who shockingly attacked his Boys after losing to RUSH in 16 seconds at G1 Supercard on April 6, came out with a microphone, but instead of explaining his actions, Castle never said a single word. He briefly strolled around and then walked to the back.
ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title Columbus Street Fight Match: Champions Villain Enterprises (“The Villain” Marty Scurll, PCO and Brody King) vs. The Kingdom (ROH World Champion Matt Taven, TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia)
Before the match began, Scurll demanded it be a Columbus Street Fight. As soon as the bell rang, rapid fire acts of violence took place both inside and outside the ring between the two rival factions. O’Ryan and Marseglia superplexed PCO onto four chairs that were set up in the ring. King used a Death Valley Driver to put Taven through a table that was set up in the corner.
Later, Taven hit a low blow on PCO and followed with Climax, but Scurll made the save. Scurll whacked Taven with his umbrella. PCO then landed a moonsault on Taven and pinned the world champion. PCO grabbed the ROH World Title belt and raised it above his head after the match.
