After The Rebellion withstood the offensive assault of the MCMG and Dijak, Titus hit the Big Dog Splash on Sabin for the pinfall.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>“The Last Real Man In Professional Wrestling” Silas Young continued his recent run of success by knocking off Japanese legend Jushin “Thunder” Liger. Aided by the repeated interference of Beer City Bruiser, Young went on to hit Misery on Liger for the win.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Dalton Castle (w/The Boys) gained a measure of revenge on short-lived former tag team partner Colt Cabana, as “The Party Peacock” pinned the veteran in the middle of the ring after connecting with Bang-A-Rang.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Cody Rhodes made quite a first impression in his ROH debut, although it certainly wasn’t a very honorable one.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Rhodes and Jay Lethal went hold-for-hold in an exciting match between two fantastic athletes, but after Lethal and the referee inadvertently knocked heads, Rhodes showed his true colors. He kicked Lethal low and then finished him off with Cross Rhodes.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>After the match, Rhodes mocked Lethal and the fans. The Addiction (Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian), who had sat in on commentary during the match, hit the ring and prevented Rhodes from doing further damage to Lethal.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Before departing, Rhodes shoved down color commentator Steve Corino for good measure.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>In the finals of the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Title Tournament, The Kingdom (Matt Taven, TK O’Ryan and Vinny Marseglia) became the inaugural champions by defeating Lio Rush, Jay White and Kushida in a frenetic contest.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>As Rush covered O’Ryan, Marseglia dove off the tope rope and landed on the referee. While the referee was dazed, Taven hit Rush with his cane, and then Marseglia and O-Ryan assisted Taven on a powerbomb on Rush for the win.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>In a match that Corino aptly dubbed “an instant classic,” newly crowned ROH World Television Champion Marty Scurll successfully defended the title against Will Ospreay and Dragon Lee in a Triple Threat Match. Bobby Fish was originally scheduled to be in the match, but he did not appear due to a death in his family.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>After Ospreay hit a springboard cutter on Lee, Scurll tossed Ospreay out of the ring, and “The Villain” applied the Crossface Chicken Wing to the CMLL star, who had no choice but to tap out.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>In a match between the two greatest tag teams in ROH history, The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson) successfully defended the ROH World Tag Team Title against eight-time former ROH World Tag Team Champions Jay and Mark Briscoe.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>With the fans on their feet and enthusiastically chanting for both teams, The Young Bucks and The Briscoes kicked out of each other’s finishing maneuvers before the Bucks finished off the Briscoes with a series of rapid-fire, brain-rattling superkicks.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>As soon as the match ended, the lights went out and a surreal scene unfolded that sent the fans into a frenzy. “Broken” Matt Hardy appeared on the video screen and said that he and “Brother Nero” Jeff Hardy must come to ROH to render The Young Bucks and The Briscoes obsolete.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>In the thrilling, ultra-violent main event, Kyle O’Reilly defeated arch rival Adam Cole to achieve his dream of winning the ROH World Championship.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Per O’Reilly’s request, the bout was turned into a no-disqualification match, and both men ended up severely lacerated as a result. O’Reilly and Cole assaulted one another with tables, chairs, garbage cans, a chain, the championship belt and thumb tacks.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>No matter how much punishment Cole inflicted, O’Reilly would not be denied on this night. With thumb tacks sticking in his back, O’Reilly caught Cole in the Cross Armbreaker and forced him to tap out.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Don’t miss your chance to witness this historic, amazing event by catching the replay of Final Battle.</div><div>&nbsp;</div> Sat, 03 Dec 2016 05:37:31 +0000 Chris Hall 424541 at INTERNATIONAL STARS TO COLLIDE IN TRIPLE THREAT MATCH IN PHILLY <div class="field field-sub-title"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> Will Ospreay vs. Kushida vs. Dragon Lee Signed For Dec. 4th </div> </div> </div> <div class="field field-news-photo"> <div class="field-items"> <div class="field-item odd"> <a href="/media/photos/chilly-triple-threat">chilly-triple-threat</a> </div> </div> </div> <div>Three of the top international stars in pro wrestling will face off in a Triple Threat Match that has all the makings of a show-stealer at the Final Battle Aftermath national TV taping on Dec. 4th at the historic 2300 Arena in Philadelphia.</div><div><!--break--></div><div><br />The match pits British sensation Will Ospreay vs. New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Kushida vs. CMLL’s Dragon Lee.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>There’s a chance that one or more of the participants will enter the match with ROH gold around their waist. At the end of the bout, Taeler Hendrix emerged from the back to stare down the winner. And for over a year, the issue between these two stars has been brewing and growing, leading up to a huge, NO DISQUALFICATION MATCH at the International Television Tapings THIS SUNDAY at the historic 2300 Arena!</div><div><!--break--><br />&nbsp;</div><div>For weeks, as Women of Honor became a permanent fixture, both Mandy and Taeler made their marks on parallel paths, racking up victory after victory. As Women of Honor got its own television specials and live events, both women saw their stars continue to rise. But something about Mandy’s success made Taeler snap. And Taeler has made it her mission to end Mandy!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>In New York, Taeler viciously attacked Mandy, DDT’ing her on to a chair. Mandy got revenge in Concord, cradling Taeler for a victory in a match when Taeler lost focus following the Kiss Goodnight Tombstone Piledriver. Taeler had the match won but chose to seek a steel chair to inflict punishment instead.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>It was tough to keep the two separated through the summer and the fall. Following a victory over Deonna Purrazzo, Taeler once again sought the solace that the cold, hard steel has provided her, looking to injure Deonna at Field of Honor until Mandy made the save! Taeler recruited “Death Machine” Jessicka Havock to weaken Mandy in both tag and singles matches while Mandy remained focused and got revenge on Taeler with a steel chair to the back of the head in Boston!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Despite her stellar win/loss record, Mandy has clearly gotten under Taeler’s skin, perhaps to Taeler’s benefit. The unhinged Taeler has channeled her hatred of Mandy into one of the best Women of Honor records while Mandy has succeeded despite a year-plus long target on her back. With hatred and revenge, respectively, reaching a boiling point for Taeler and Mandy, these two will battle in a NO DISQUALIFICATION bout in a city, and building, filled with hardcore history. There will be no Sisterly Love this Sunday when Mandy and Taeler meet at the 2300 Arena!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>12/4/16 FINAL BATTLE AFTERMATH - PHILADELPHIA, PA</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>ALREADY SIGNED…</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>DECADE OF EXCELLENCE TOURNAMENT – WINNER RECEIVES WORLD TITLE SHOT AT 15TH ANNIVERSARY</div><div>FIRST ROUND</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>CHRISTOPHER DANIELS VS. But for the men in this six man tag team bout, this match is about more than that. It is about rebellion versus restoring order to Ring of Honor.
</span></div><div><!--break--></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>For weeks on Ring of Honor television and at live events, Coleman, King, and Titus have asserted a new side to their usual jocular behavior. Their new, more intense side has grown from a perceived lack of opportunities despite their impressive won/loss record and they have promised chaos at ROH events. They started in Florida, hijacking Ring of Honor’s social media and followed it up in Baltimore promising disorder and instability. In Texas, they demonstrated new lengths they would take to shake ROH to its core. The rebellious trio has signed for a match against three men who want to restore order to ROH.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>
Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley have been among the world’s best tag teams for close to a decade. Once two of the sport’s fastest rising stars, the Motor City Machine Guns fulfilled the promise seen in them by fans and journalists alike. But since they reunited in ROH, they have faced adversity at every turn. As one of the only teams to truly stand up to Bullet Club’s bullying starting at War of the Worlds in Dearborn through the historic Ladder War 6, the Machine Guns have made an effort to scout young talent like Lio Rush, Jay White, and now Donovan Dijak to help restore order to ROH.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The Guns and Dijak see the rebellious trio of Coleman, King, and Titus as just another force trying to disrupt order in ROH and have issued a challenge. Can they cut the heads off of this stirring monster before they bring in “the others” as promised on Ring of Honor Television? Will Ospreay capitalized on the opportunity of a lifetime, defeating Fish for the ROH World Television Championship in front of his countrymen in his Ring of Honor debut!
