What evidence do you have to back that up?</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>MT: There's a time-honored tradition in wrestling that when a champion loses his/her/their title(s), they are automatically entitled to a championship rematch. We have NEVER had our six-man championship rematch. On top of that, we were forced to defend our titles with Silas Young replacing an injured TK O'Ryan, who broke his leg on a guardrail that was too close to the ring! Who put that guardrail there? ROH. We didn't want to defend our titles, and especially not with Silas Young, but who forced us to? ROH.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Not to mention Frankie Kazarian interfered in my world title match [against then-champion Christopher Daniels] and ROH did nothing about it!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>We also deserve a tag title match after pinning [co-holder of the ROH World Tag Team Titles] Chris Sabin in a six-man tag match, but ROH changed it to a three-team tag match where we didn't get pinned in the decision. You would think ROH would give us a fair shot, but no! Still hasn't happened.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>With Final Battle coming up, the conspiracy is more apparent than ever. Why aren’t we getting our six-man title shot at the show? Why aren’t TK and Vinny getting tag title shots? And why isn't Matt Taven fighting for the Ring of Honor world title? These are all things we rightfully deserve and earned! The only plausible explanation is that there's a Kingdom Conspiracy at hand!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>ROH: What would be the motive for a conspiracy against The Kingdom?</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>MT: Just like in society, the people in power and that are on top do everything that they can to make sure that their positions on the food chain don't change. When they see people that threaten their spots or positioning, they do whatever they can to hold them down. This is a classic case of the “one percent” trying to keep the worker bees from taking a piece of their pie.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>ROH: Do you have any theories as to who specifically may be behind the alleged plot against you?</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>MT: That's still under investigation, but the deeper we dig, the scarier it gets because it looks like it comes all the way from the top.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>ROH: You said it’s unfair that The Kingdom never received a rematch for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Titles that you lost while TK was out with an injury, but The Kingdom did compete in a No. 1 contender’s match at Death Before Dishonor and you lost. To play devil’s advocate, why is it unfair that you should have to work your way back into contention?</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>MT: It sounds like you are part of the conspiracy. Look at that question alone -- No. 1 contenders match? &nbsp; Is that a championship rematch which we were entitled to? We should've never been in that match in the first place; we should’ve had a shot at our titles. Get your head out of the sand.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>ROH: So if there truly is a conspiracy, what can you do to overcome it?</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>MT: First off, there is a conspiracy. Our first step is to spread the word, let people know what's truly going on. Once we expose the conspiracy for what it truly is, maybe the powers that be will have no choice but to give us what we rightfully deserve.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>ROH: Off topic a bit, The Kingdom has been taking over intermissions at ROH live events. What’s that all about?</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>MT: Well despite what Kingdom fans have been begging Ring of Honor for, ROH has refused to put us on the meet and greets and autograph signings. So we decided to take matters into our own hands. We go out at intermission, take over the merchandise stand and preach the truth to the people. We are on a grassroots campaign to expose this conspiracy. Ring of Honor doesn't have the guts to stop us because they know that if they do, the people will see there truly is a conspiracy against us.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>ROH: With Final Battle a week away, you’ve earned a big opportunity to compete against a very accomplished and dangerous Will Ospreay in what’s being billed as a “special attraction” match. What are your thoughts as you prepare for what could be a career-defining match for you?</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Defining moment? You must be new! I’ve been TV champ defeating Adam Cole, Tag Team Champion beating the Young Bucks and The Addiction, IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team champ and Six-Man champ beating Bullet Club.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Who’s Will Ospreay to me ... just some Jr. Heavyweight that Melvins love? And dangerous? The guy dresses like a cat…ooooh, how dangerous!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The real story here is the Kingdom Conspiracy going on in ROH. At one point, “The Villain” went for a pin with his feet on the ropes for leverage, but the referee saw it and stopped the count.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Bruiser picked up a head of steam and charged into the corner in an attempt to splash Scurll, but Scurll moved and Bruiser inadvertently took out the referee. With the referee temporarily incapacitated, Scurll grabbed his umbrella and nailed Bruiser in the head with it. Castle said if Cody thinks not having The Boys makes him weak then he’s wildly unprepared for the man he’ll be facing at Final Battle. They told the Briscoes that Bully wasn’t there.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The Briscoes attacked the two male students and verbally intimidated the female. They continued searching for Bully, ripping framed photos off the wall and breaking them along the way. Kenny, you’re a ho,” Coleman said. “It’s my responsibility to make you my priority and become Ring of Honor’s new television champion.”</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>ROH World Tag Team Title Match: Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) (champions) vs. The Kingdom’s Vinny Marseglia and TK O’Ryan</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>It was an evenly contested match in the early going before Marseglia and O’Ryan gained the upper hand after O’Ryan feigned a knee injury to cause a distraction. O’Ryan hit a cutter on Sabin, and Marseglia followed up with Redrum off the top for the first of two near falls for the challengers.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Perhaps frustrated by his and Marseglia’s &nbsp;inability to put away the champions, O’Ryan brought his baseball bat into the ring, but he inadvertently hit his partner with it. The Machine Guns capitalized on the miscue by hitting a series of precision double-team moves for the victory.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Adam Page vs. Flip Gordon</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>After Gordon captained a team that nearly upset Bullet Club in an eight-man tag match last week, the next battle in his war with Bullet Club was a singles match against Page. The two acrobatic and innovative competitors fought to a statemate early until Page hung Gordon upside down in the corner and used a chair to springboard into him feet-first.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Gordon came back with a springboard hurricanrana followed by a running Shooting Star Press for a near fall. Page answered with a spectacular moonsault from the top rope onto Gordon outside the ring. The resilient Gordon then landed a Samoan Pop, Pele Kick and Star-Spangled Stunner in succession to score the upset.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>As the referee raised Gordon’s hand after the match, The Young Bucks’ Matt Jackson, wearing a referee’s shirt, slipped into the ring, pulled the referee away from Gordon and then raised Gordon’s hand himself. Once Gordon realized it was Jackson he tried to pull away, but Jackson maintained his grip and said, “Where do you think you’re going?”</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Nick Jackson then nailed Gordon with a superkick.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>Cody’s Parting Shot</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The ROH World Champion was watching the proceedings in the ring on the monitor backstage. Daniels, determined to win back the ROH World Title he had lost to Cody, pulled out all the stops. In the end, however, Daniels’ quest went up in flames -- literally -- as Cody powerbombed him through a flaming table and Daniels was unable to answer the 10 count.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><img alt="" src="https://rohwrestlingcom.box.com/shared/static/gtoj7rqnc0vdsy2dckd7385az48irmvo.png" /></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>4. The New Japan Pro-Wrestling star was at the top of his game when he faced Cody for the ROH World Title, but Cody was up for the challenge. VS. MINORU SUZUKI (Death Before Dishonor, Sept. 22, 2017)</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>When Cody issued an open challenge for his ROH World Title, he never suspected NEVER Openweight Champion Suzuki, who has a well-deserved reputation as one of the world’s most dangerous men, would step up to accept it. In the Japanese legend’s first match on American soil in 25 years, he assaulted Cody with an assortment of strikes and submission maneuvers, but the world champion proved resilient. After a series of reversals, Cody caught Suzuki with Cross Rhodes and pinned him.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><img alt="" src="https://rohwrestlingcom.box.com/shared/static/4thn937otgofwa76sah0ejw5uuaycczt.png" /></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>2. VS. JAY LETHAL (Final Battle, Dec. 2, 2016)</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>In Cody’s first match in ROH, the second-generation competitor faced one of the most-decorated pro wrestlers to ever grace an ROH ring in Lethal, the former ROH World Champion and “The Greatest First Generation Wrestler.” The two stars adhered to the Code of Honor at the start of the match and then engaged in a hard-fought but clean back-and-forth contest. However, when the referee went down after inadvertently bumping heads with Lethal, Cody nailed Lethal with a low blow and followed up with Cross Rhodes for the victory. Before leaving the ring, Cody directed an obscene gesture at the fallen Lethal. Cody’s actions sent a message to every competitor and fan in ROH that he would win at all costs and make no apologies for doing so.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><img alt="" src="https://rohwrestlingcom.box.com/shared/static/okv0kmcmbdhwrethjda2stem5o73izp8.png" /></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><strong>1. VS. CHRISTOPHER DANIELS (Best in the World, June 23, 2017)</strong></div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>“The American Nightmare” achieved his dream of becoming world champion when he defeated Daniels to win the ROH World Title. Cody suffered a split lip just minutes into the match, but tasting his own blood only seemed to make him more determined. Although Daniels put up a strong fight, Cody would not be denied, and he went on to pin Daniels after hitting Cross Rhodes for a second time. With Cody’s victory, he and his father -- legendary, three-time world heavyweight champion Dusty Rhodes -- joined an extremely short list of fathers and sons who won world titles.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Will Cody add a victory over Dalton Castle at Final Battle to his impressive list of triumphs? Fans around the world will be watching on Pay Per View, on the Fite.TV app, on ROHWrestling.com, and on Playstation Network as wrestling’s top stars clash with scores to be settled and championships to be decided.<div>&nbsp;</div><div>This year’s Final Battle is the 16th in ROH history and will be the best, ever! In the last few weeks, championship matches have been interrupted, the sanctity of the squared circle insulted, fans have been injured, and suspensions levied. For War Machine and the Addiction, the actions have opened old wounds and these two teams head to Final Battle looking for blood!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>GRUDGE MATCH</div><div>THE ADDICTION (CHRISTOPHER DANIELS &amp; FRANKIE KAZARIAN) VS. WAR MACHINE (RAY ROWE &amp; HANSON)</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>War Machine earned a shot at the ROH World Tag Team Championships and took on the Motor City Machine Guns for the championships in Philadelphia. With the match, and perhaps the titles, heading their way, the match was interrupted by The Addiction, who not only cost War Machine the match but ruined it for the fans with childish toys like silly string.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>A few weeks later on ROH Television, War Machine was never able to start their match, instead they were attacked by The Addiction. The brawl led to a fan getting hurt with a full-scale investigation leading to a suspension of Ray Rowe that kept him off of ROH Elite and the international television taping in Ft. Lauderdale.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The actions of “Almighty” Christopher Daniels and “The Heavy Metal Rebel” Frankie Kazarian were not done at random, indeed they were deliberate and calculated, done to insert chaos into the ROH World Tag Team Championship picture and also to ruin the experience of ROH fans.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>And maybe, just maybe, to cost old foes what is most important to them.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>It was the night after Global Wars 2016 that the Addiction goaded War Machine into their third match in less than 24 hours, including a vicious brawl that saw War Machine finally defeat the Briscoes and then War Machine defeating IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and Gedo the very next night. The Addiction, who have christened themselves “The Smartest Men in the Room”, took advantage of the adrenaline and the fearlessness of War Machine, challenged them on the spot, and captured the ROH World Tag Team Titles in Dearborn.&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>The issues between The Addiction and War Machine date back over 18 months but The Addiction’s most recent stunts cost War Machine the championships and Ray Rowe a living. These two teams will collide in a huge grudge match at Final Battle!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div><a href="http://www.rohwrestling.com/ippv">Every year, Final Battle is the biggest event on the Ring of Honor calendar! The Kingdom’s Matt Taven has had one of the best years of his career, quarterbacking a duo of young stars in “The Best Around” TK O’Ryan and “INKSANITY” Vinny Marseglia to the top of Tag Team and Six-Man Tag Team competition to the biggest heights of their careers while having one of the biggest of his own. But Taven believes a far-reaching “Kingdom Conspiracy” is preventing him from winning the one championship missing in his pursuit to be the first Grand Slam Champion. At Final Battle, he can prove his worth in the ring against one of the world’s top stars!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH</div><div>MATT TAVEN vs. “THE AERIAL ASSASSIN” WILL OSPREAY</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>2017 has been a huge year for Matt Taven. The man who is referred to as the Tom Brady of The Kingdom entered the year one-third of the ROH World Six Man Tag Team Champions, won the Honor Royal at Manhattan Mayhem, vanquished an old foes in former three-time ROH World Champion Adam Cole and Jay Lethal in the first round of the Soaring Eagle Cup, while defeating legends like Ultimo Guerrero and white-hot rising stars like “Switchblade” Jay White.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>At ROH Elite, Taven defeated Flip Gordon showing extreme discipline in keeping Gordon out of the sky and on the mat. He’ll need to use the same discipline when he competes with perhaps the highest flyer who combines a tantalizing potential and a robust resume of present success in “The Aerial Assassin” Will Ospreay!</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>Taven and Ospreay have a lot in common – both men won the ROH World Television Championship in their very first match as contracted Ring of Honor talents. Both men entered ROH well beyond their years, well ahead of the average developmental curve of a professional wrestler.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>For Ospreay, Taven is one of the hottest stars in ROH coming off a series a huge wins and presents an opportunity for Ospreay to build off his show-stealing victory over Flip Gordon at Global Wars – Chicago. For Taven, Ospreay is an international phenom whose name could be added to the litany of stars Taven has defeated in 2017, making him unavoidable in the ROH World Title picture for 2018!
