Unbeaten, never been pinned, never been submitted: for over a year those have been the calling cards of “The Dominant Male” Tommaso Ciampa. In one-on-one competition he has bested every challenger. In multi-man matches, even when he has not won, he has never been the man defeated. For over a year The Embassy’s main man has dominated his competition with victories over the likes of Homicide, Colt Cabana, Adam Cole, and most importantly, the ROH World TV Champion Jay Lethal.
That last victory is the most important because it happened in the Proving Ground on January 21st in Norfolk, VA and thus earned Ciampa a future ROH World TV Title match.
“Tommaso Ciampa has deserved a championship opportunity for a long time now.” stated The Embassy’s Barrister RD Evans, “With every victory he has secured, with every day he continued to go unbeaten, Tommaso Ciampa proved himself a deserving challenger but yet Ring of Honor still had the audacity to make him compete in a Proving Ground match. Well now we see how well that obstacle worked out for you didn’t we? Ciampa smashed Lethal the same way he has smashed every bit of so-called competition ROH has put in the ring with him! Still that was but a precursor to what will happen on the night Ciampa sets foot in the ring against Lethal with the TV Title on the line. It would have been easier for you Mr. Lethal to just hand over the title that night and admit that Tommaso Ciampa is, and always will be, the better man.”
Well on Sunday March 4th “The Dominant Male” Tommaso Ciampa will have his chance to prove RD Evans’ words true as he gets his TV Title opportunity at the “10th Anniversary Event”! Will Lethal be the first man to put Ciampa’s shoulders to the mat for a 3 count or perhaps even make him submit? Or will Ciampa continue to steamroll the competition, make Lethal another victim of Project Ciampa, and claim The Embassy’s very first championship?
