The ROH World Tag Team Title Tournament continued this weekend on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV with one final 1st Round match-up and some very intriguing news regarding the rest of the tourney.
First, Jay & Mark Briscoe advanced to the semi-finals of the tournament, taking place (along with the finals) this Saturday night at “Death Before Dishonor X”, with a victory over the BLKOUT duo of Ruckus & Jeez.
So as a result of that victory, the semi-finals are set and are looking like this:
- Steve Corino & Jimmy Jacobs vs. Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander
- Jay & Mark Briscoe vs. Charlie Haas & Rhett Titus
The second big piece of news coming out of TV pertains to the second match. Charlie Haas dropped the bombshell that Shelton Benjamin would be in attendance this Saturday and working the corner of Haas & Titus in their bout! Shelton's suspension was up September 1st.
