The ROH World Tag Team Title Tournament continued this weekend on “Ring of Honor Wrestling TV”, available to Ringside Members now, with a shocking entry into the brackets.
S.C.U.M, represented by Jimmy Jacobs & Steve Corino, bartered themselves a spot in the tournament by putting it all on the line. Apparently an agreement was reached with ROH Executive Producer Jim Cornette that Jacobs & Corino would take the spot vacated by the teaming of Charlie Haas & Rhett Titus in exchange for their ROH careers! Should S.C.U.M lose a single match in this tournament, their ROH careers would be forfeit and they would willing walk away from Ring of Honor.
It was a gamble that paid off though as they defeated Lancelot & Harlem Bravado in the opening round of the tournament and now advance to the Semi-Finals at “Death Before Dishonor X” in Chicago Ridge on September 15th to face the duo of Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander.
In the other bracket, the pairing of Haas & Titus proved victorious when Rhett pinned one of The Guardians of Truth to advance to the Semi-Finals on 9/15 where they will face off with the winner of The Briscoes/BLK Out match that takes place this weekend on “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV.
