“Survival of the Fittest 2012” will go down on September 22nd in Baltimore, MD at the historic Du Burns Arena! This tournament to earn a future shot at the ROH World Title now boasts eight men in its ranks with Cole, Elgin, Lethal, Bennett, Strong, Homicide, O'Reilly, & Mondo all signed on. Seven of those competitors are veterans of the SOTF while Mondo is making his first foray into the tourney. Now another first-timer has had his name thrown into the hat, a man synonomous with a word that puts fear into the hearts of opponents....GORE!

Rhino has been decimating his competition since first being introduced into Ring of Honor by The Embassy last year, and has continued to do the exact same since his services were purchased by The House of Truth. In fact, he is the reason Eddie Edwards will not be competing on any September event as a Gore through a table has left “Die Hard” with serious rib injuries. What makes his entry into the SOTF even more interesting is that on September 15th, one week before the tournament, Rhino will challenge Kevin Steen for the ROH World Title at “Death Before Dishonor X” live on iPPV.
How would a victory in Chicago Ridge effect his participation in the tourney? Could we see the ROH World Champion participate in “Survival of the Fittest 2012” for the first time? We will have to wait until 9/16 to find out the answer to that one, and then on 9/22 in Baltimore we will find out if The Gore will seal the deal for Rhino & The HoT!
