- Speaking of “Caged Hostility”, Kyle O'Reilly earned a future shot at the ROH TV Title last Saturday by defeating his former tag team partner, ROH World TV Champion Adam Cole, in a Proving Ground bout. The surprise appearance of Davey Richards definitely played apart in the finish of the match but regardless, O’Reilly has earned his shot at gold. ROH Officials have already determined that O'Reilly will receive his championship opportunity on November 3rd at The Rostraver Ice Gardens in Pittsburgh, PA at our final “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV tapings of 2012. A lot can happen in two months, it could be Mondo vs. O'Reilly just as much as it could be Adam Cole that Kyle squares off with. Get your tickets for our final 2012 TV Taping right here!
- Also last Saturday in Charlotte, ROH World Champion Kevin Steen, Mark Briscoe and Rhett Titus suffered very serious injuries in the Steel Cage War. As of now, however, each individual is still scheduled to compete this weekend in Chicago!
- Announced earlier today, international superstar Matt Hardy will be in attendance in Chicago Ridge this weekend during "Death Before Dishonor X"! Hardy will not be competing but will sit-down prior to the event for a special autograph signing for all the great fans in the Windy City area! - Announced last Saturday, on October 6th in Rahway, NJ, Jay Lethal will challenge for the ROH World Title! It could be Kevin Steen or it could be Rhino who Lethal faces for the ROH World Title and that will be determined this weekend at “Death Before Dishonor X” live on iPPV. But whoever it may be, it's obvious that Lethal is bringing with him an intensity and hunger beyond what we have seen from him in quite some time. In front of his friends, family, and the fans who have supported him since the beginning, Lethal will go into Rahway on October 6th as a challenger and hopes to emerge as champion. - “Survival of the Fittest 2012” on September 22nd in Baltimore is taking shape with four great Qualifying Matches already announced including Adam Cole vs. the winner of Tadarius Thomas/Silas Young at DBDX and announced today, Jay Lethal vs. “God’s Gift” QT Marshall. All of this years Qualifying Bouts are being randomly selected by a high tech computer program to randomly generate the pairings. - The Ring Of Honor Dojo, under head trainer DELIRIOUS, will be starting new classes during the week of October 22nd, 2012 and spots are filling up! For those of you interested, but who can't make the October sessions, expect a new class to start around 4 months after this.
