ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE YOUNG BUCKS (MATT & NICK JACKSON) vs. IWGP HEAVYWEIGHT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS WAR MACHINE (HANSON & RAY ROWE)

Tag team wrestling has never been hotter and Ring of Honor is home to the best tag team division in the world! The Young Bucks cemented their legacy as one of the greatest tag teams of all time when they defeated Jeff and Matt Hardy in a ladder match at Supercard of Honor in front of the largest crowd in Ring of Honor history and won the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championships for the third time. Since their historic victory, Matt and Nick Jackson have issued an open challenge to the best teams past, present, and future. The brothers have run the gauntlet from teams like Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara to The Squad to the Kingdom.

But perhaps their biggest test will come in Lowell, live on Pay Per View when a dangerous team stands across the ring with a legacy of their own to cement and a feeling that they may have the Young Bucks number!

“War Beard” Hanson and Ray Rowe had their first taste of championship gold when they defeated the Kingdom at Ring of Honor’s seminal event, Final Battle, in December 2015. Six months of defenses culminated in three defenses in two nights against the Briscoes, Okada and Gedo, and the Addiction. It was their fighting spirit that cost them the championship on that hot night in Dearborn on the War of the Worlds Tour in 2016, answering an on-the-spot challenge a night after a grueling brawl and directly after successfully defeating CHAOS. Since then, the team has added their name to the list of just three teams to have ever held the ROH World and IWGP Heavyweight Tag Team Championships and are returning to America looking to win the ROH World Tag Team titles for the second time!

Hanson and Rowe seemingly had the championships won from the Young Bucks at The Experience before interference from Bullet Club secured the victory for the Bucks, even securing a visual pinfall well beyond a three count. Since then, War Machine defeated the Young Bucks with no championships on the line in Japan and captured the IWGP Heavwyweight Tag Team Championships from TenCozy, sending them directly to the front of the line. In front of a sold-out, Philadelphia crowd, War Machine answered the Young Bucks’ open challenge following a decisive victory over Cheeseburger and Will Ferrara and the Young Bucks accepted the challenge. The ROH Board of Directors have reached all four men and the match has been signed for Best in the World!

Will Matt and Nick Jackson find a way to defeat one of the biggest, baddest teams in the world once more or will the buck stop with War Machine? Hanson and Rowe appear to have the Bucks number but the Bucks always rise to the occasion on the biggest stages. Who will walk out of Lowell champions? Order Best in the World to find out!
