Results from Glory By Honor XIV in Dayton

Glory By Honor is in the history books and fans who attended Ring of Honor live in Dayton were witness to a night of amazing in-ring action.
In a quick-but-intense Women of Honor match, The Decade’s Kelly Klein defeated Ray Lynn in about minute via submission.
After pushing his body to the limit at the television taping event in Kalamazoo the night before, ACH had suffered a concussion and could not be medically cleared to compete in Dayton. ROH Match Maker Nigel McGuinness announced that Dalton Castle would replace ACH in the Champions vs All Stars main event.
In the match of The Kingdom’s Adam Cole versus Will Ferrera, Ferrera brought the battle to Cole with an intensity that Cole didn’t expect. The two battled back and forth with big moves and a number of near-falls, with each man sure at one point or another that victory was in hand. In the end, Adam Cole proved to be the better man in Dayton, but Ferrara was met with applause and respect from the audience as he left the ring for his incredible effort.
The All Night Express was set to take on Silas Young and Beer City Bruiser, but Young decided this was a good time to test out The Boys on his quest to turn them into men. Although there was an exciting early going, eventually Young expressed his disappointment in The Boys and swapped them out for himself and the Beer City Bruiser. ANX didn’t seem to mind much, as they went on to defeat the team with the One Night Stand.
Caprice Coleman introduced local star Samson Walker as the latest to try and become a Ring of Honor wrestler, but to do so, Walker would have to go through Coleman, but proved unsuccessful in that endeavor. Coleman defeated Walker, but Walker received the appreciation of the fans in attendance.
In a brutal big-man match, the "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin and Donovan Dijak, with Truth Martini and Taelor Hendrix at ringside, showed incredible power and even agility in a battle that tested strength and stamina between the veteran and the newcomer. After an impressive exchange, Big Mike defeated Dijak. The two shook hands after the match, but a look in both men’s eyes showed that their latest battle would not likely be their last.
The House of Truth’s Joey "Diesel" Daddiego battled and defeated Future of Honor prospect Shaheem Ali. Ali is looking to take this defeat as a learning opportunity as he continues to gather experience and skill in the ring.
Four Corner Survival
Cliff Compton defeated The Decades Adam Page, Cedric Alexander and "Brutal" Bob Evans when Compton pinned Evans with help from Cheeseburger. After the match, Brutal Bob was furious with Cheeseburger, but Cheeseburger had some choice words for Brutal Bob that we simply can’t repeat in these reports. As a result, the two will clash at Final Battle in December!
When The Briscoes and War Machine go head-to-head in the ring, there’s no doubt that a war is going to happen. After an incredibly physical match, the legendary Briscoes would just outperform War Machine – a team that War Machine has never been able to beat. Hanson and Rowe took the loss, but the team is determined to show they’re nowhere near done.
Champions vs. All-Stars
For the champions side of the match, ROH World Champion Jay Lethal, the new ROH World Television Champion Roderick Strong, and the ROH World Tag Team Champions The Kingdoms Matt Taven & Michael Bennett would take on and defeat the ROH All Stars; Moose, Dalton Castle, and The Addiction.
After the match, there was a show of no love loss for ROH World Champion Jay Lethal as he was confronted by ROH World Television Champion Roderick Strong and #1 contender for the ROH World Championship, AJ Styles.
