ROH Matchmaker Nigel McGuinness has put together a huge tag team contest to take place in Columbus, Ohio as The American Wolves will take on Outlaw Inc.! Since their return to ROH at Manhattan Mayhem V, Homicide and Eddie Kingston have been doing "everything right" in an attempt to get in Nigel's good graces. Outlaw Inc. have been wearing shirts and ties, are shaking hands, and have even been cheering on talent from the crowd. They feel that they are helping ROH and Nigel by taking out those who are bad for the company. In this attempt, they have broken the fingers of R.D. Evans at both Manhattan Mayhem V and at Death Before Dishonor.
Since their debut, Outlaw Inc. have targeted the ROH World Tag Team Champions reDRagon. Homicide and Kingston are hoping to eventually get a shot at the champions and believe they are doing what's best for the company to earn that shot. At Manhattan Mayhem V they also broke the fingers of Kyle O'Reilly. Since then, Outlaw Inc. have called reDRagon out to the ring multiple times, but have yet to get a response. The only contact that the two teams seem to have are when Outlaw Inc. take it upon themselves to find reDRagon at ringside. Things finally got physical between the two teams at Glory By Honor when a brawl broke out in the "Champions vs. All-Stars" main event.
After successful victories this month against BLKOut and Adrenaline Rush, Outlaw Inc. will get their first shot at a team who have held the tag team championships in the past. The two time champion American Wolves will be the biggest test for Outlaw Inc. thus far. The Wolves have beaten just about every tag team in ROH over the past year including reDRagon at Final Battle.
Richards and Edwards return to ROH fresh off their own International tours. Davey Richards returns in Cincinnati this Saturday after a near month long hiatus. During that time, Davey has been taking on some of the best talent that Europe has to offer in his tour of England. Eddie Edwards last competed at Charm City Challenge where he defeated Adam Page in singles competition. Since then he's completed another tour of Japan. The experience that both of these guys constantly gain overseas makes them a tough team to defeat.
Outlaw Inc. will have their hands full against one of the most decorated teams in ROH history. It's sure to be a tough, grueling, hard hitting contest that features three former ROH World Champions in one ring. Which team will move closer to earning a shot at reDRagon? The Wolves have been seeking redemption since losing the titles to them in New York City. But Outlaw has yet to be defeated by any team they've faced. There's only one way to see this one live, and that's by joining us in Columbus on November 16th. Tickets and information can be found here.
