In just two days Ring of Honor hits The Du Burns Arena in Baltimore for our first live event, and first TV Tapings, of 2013! One of the focal points of this taping will be the 2013 Top Prospect Tournament in which 8 men will battle it out in a single-elimination format. Six of the competitors have already been named and now the final two entrants have been set:
Page has fought sporadically on ROH live events over the last year, most notably in a standout bout at “Caged Hostility” where be fell to Jay Lethal, but hasn't yet done enough to earn a secure position in the Ring of Honor locker room. As with most of the individuals in the field, this tournament is just the sort of opportunity a young athlete like Page needs to stand at the front of the pack and prove he deserves to be considered the top prospect of the new year!
One of the most experienced men entered into this tournament, Thomas has indeed seen the world and competed at the highest levels but it is only at this point in his career that Thomas truly feels he is at his best. Full of untapped potential and looking to make a true impact, Thomas sought out a spot in this tournament as he looks to prove that he deserves to stand toe-to-toe with the best wrestlers on the planet.
The 2013 TPT goes down in Baltimore THIS Saturday night, January 5th, as part of our first “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV Tapings of 2013! Tickets are on-sale here or at the door on Saturday night!
