- THIS Sunday is our biggest event of the summer and anticipation is at an all time high! “Best in the World 2012: Hostage Crisis” will emanate live from the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City and all of the action will start at 5PM Eastern Time! - Everyone including the ROH staff and roster are in full support of “The American Wolf” Davey Richards as we head into the huge main event this Sunday. This will be the last chance Richards has at regaining the title while Steen is champion and we are confident that honor will prevail!
- Don’t forget that if Charlie Haas or Shelton Benjamin get disqualified this Sunday in their World Tag Title match with ANX they will LOSE the ROH World Tag Team Titles. This stipulation is the result of Haas pushing referee Paul Turner in an impromptu match with the Bravado Brothers in Richmond last month. Immediately following that bout, The All Night Express received their long awaited Tag Title shot but their dreams were shattered when Haas blasted Rhett Titus in the head with the Tag Team Championship belt intentionally getting disqualified. This stipulation was added to all of WGTT’s title matches going forward in order to bring integrity back to the ROH Tag Team Championships.
- There will be a LIVE Prodigy Service Announcement (PSA) with “The Prodigy” Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, and Brutal Bob this Sunday at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City. There is absolutely no telling what “The Prodigy” has in store for the people in NYC!

- “No Fear” Mike Mondo is doing a great job of making it aware to everyone via social media, videos, e-mails, etc. that Davey Richards could not beat him. Mondo feels entitled to a spot on “Best in the World 2012: Hostage Crisis” but unfortunately the card is full. There is no doubt that Mondo impressed everyone in Charleston, WV last Friday against Richards but ROH officials had finished the lineup before that match took place. Mondo returns to ROH on June 29th in Baltimore for our TV Tapings at the Du Burns Arena, tickets are available here.
- Also signed for our TV Tapings on June 29th are Matt Taven, Mike Sydal, and the Bravado Brothers!

- This week’s episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling” TV is the final episode before “Best in the World 2012”! In a huge main event tag team war Davey Richards and Kyle O'Reilly battle Kevin Steen and Jimmy Jacobs! In addition, after the challenge was made and accepted last week it will be Brutal Bob facing “Die Hard” Eddie Edwards and Jay Lethal grapples with “The Psychedelic Superstar” Chris Silvio! - Ring of Honor Wrestling returns to the Carolinas in July with our debut in Winston-Salem, NC on the 27th and a return to Spartanburg, SC on the 28th! Our last trip to the Carolinas saw records set at “Northern Aggression” and we can guarantee that on this tour the ROH World Title will be defended on July 28th in Spartanburg! Who will be the champion come July? It could be Kevin Steen or Davey Richards coming out of “Best in the World 2012” on Sunday, it may be Roderick Strong following our return to Pittsburgh on June 30th, or as announced in Tuesday Newswire, it could be whoever challenges for the World Title on June 29th in Baltimore!
