The House of Truth Holds The Cards

Can Martini cash in before the HoT tears itself apart?
It became readily obvious this weekend at “Boiling Point 2012” that there is some serious trouble within The House of Truth regardless of what Truth Martini may try and publicly state.

It started with Martini announcing to the world how Rhino would bring the ROH World Title to the House when he defeats Kevin Steen at “Death Before Dishonor X” in Chicago Ridge on September 15th.

However Elgin saw things differently and after months of having Martini put him on the backburner, stated he had went to ROH officials earlier in the night and finally signed on to get his shot at “Glory by Honor IX” on October 13th in Mississauga.

Then Roderick Strong claimed Michael Elgin's title opportunity, the one he earned by winning “Survival of the Fittest 2011”, belonged to him as per Martini's promises.  This led to Roderick stating he was going on strike from the HoT and that he would sit ringside with the fans during Elgin's title match to him lose. The strife between the two men culminated when Strong directly cost Elgin his match against Charlie Haas by spitting beer in this face.

Martini, for once, refused to comment to ROHWrestling.com regarding the Elgin/Strong situation only stating that The HoT will once more have the World Title in their house very shortly.

With Kevin Steen scheduled to face Rhino at “Death Before Dishonor X” on 9/15 and Michael Elgin finally getting his shot on 10/13 at “Glory by Honor XI”, it is a safe bet that Martini's statement will become fact before too long. Still, with all of the internal problems the HoT is obviously going through, how long can Truth keep a lid on things? How long until he has to make a choice?
