Death Before Dishonor XIII is in the history books! It featured some fantastic matches and was capped off by a historic ROH World Title main event that has the world of professional wrestling buzzing.
The opener say “The Last Real Man” Silas Young defeating Will Ferrara after hitting Misery.
It was a great back and forth contest that saw Young use his power advantage to secure the victory. Dalton Castle’s boys made an appearance, apparently to play mind games with Silas. The boys finally got a taste of revenge when they dumped Silas from the ring after he attacked Will Ferrara post match.
Cedric Alexander w/Veda Scott defeated Moose w/Stokley Hathaway,
Alexander once again hit Moose with a wrench to win this match. This issue is far from resolved! Moose may have found his Kryptonite in Alexander! Cedric assaulted both Stokely and mentor Prince Nana en route to victory.
The Briscoes defeated Roppongi Vice.
The Briscoes and RPG showed the world why the best tag team division is right here in Ring of Honor. This match saw a little bit of everything before The Briscoe’s won after a Jay Driller/Froggybow combination. The Briscoes have put themselves right back in the hunt for a potential 9th ROH World Tag Team Title.
The Kingdom’s Adam Cole defeated Dalton Castle with the suplexdriver neckbreaker.
Dalton Castle had the former ROH World Champion close to defeat more than once. Cole was resilient and proved why he is still one of the very best in the world today.
The Decade’s Adam Page defeated ACH with the Rite of Passage from the apron through a table.
BJ Whitmer introduced himself to the crowd and informed them that he was 11 days removed from reconstructive ACL surgery. The Baltimore fans did not want to hear him and let him know it. Page was introduced and followed by ACH attacking him immediately. This match saw the use of weapons and destruction. In the end, Colby Corino provided a distraction, while Whitmer provided a crutch to assist Page en route to victory.
ROH World Tag Team Championship
The Addiction ("The Almighty" Christopher Daniels & Kazarian) defeated reDRagon (Bobby Fish & Kyle O'Reilly), War Machine (Raymond Rowe & Hanson) and The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Michael Bennett w/Maria Kanellis) in a Four Corner Survival match to retain their ROH World Tag Team Championships. The Addiction used their edge in experience to steal a victory at an opportune time over Bobby Fish. This match saw a little bit of everything:  flying, submissions, power movers and brilliance by the champions. The Kingdom’s Adam Cole also revealed some shocking news on commentary!
ROH World Championship
ROH World & World Television Champion Jay Lethal vs. “Mr ROH” Roderick Strong battled to an epic 60 Minute Draw. This seesaw battle was one for the ages. No amount of words could possible do this justice. Fans were chanting "Match of the Year" as both men were thoroughly exhausted and almost unable to move after the bell rang. There are a lot of questions left unanswered! Can Jay Lethal defeat Roderick Strong? Does Roderick Strong get a rematch?
