Flip Gordon Victorious at CMLL's 84th Anniversary

Flip Gordon made his CMLL debut on Saturday night, teaming with Volador Jr. and Caristico to defeat Satoshi Kojima, Mephisto, and Ultimo Guerrero in a two-out-of-three falls bout at CMLL’s 84th Anniversary Pay Per View!

Gordon wowed the fans at Arena Mexico at CMLL’s biggest event of the year, taking to the air with his innovative offense. Down one fall to zero, Gordon and Volador Jr. hit stereo dives to give Caristico an opportunity to submit Guerrero with La Mistica. Gordon played a huge part in his team’s victory in the third and deciding fall, pinning Guerrero after a 450 while Volador Jr. pinned Mephisto following a Super Frankensteiner, as the teammates secured a double pin for the third and deciding fall!

Gordon’s pinfall on the former CMLL World Heavyweight Champion Guerrero is the biggest of his career and certainly caught the attention of both CMLL and ROH officials. As the CMLL and ROH relationship gets stronger each and every year, Gordon’s debut has no doubt raised his stock in the eyes of both organizations.

The pride of Kalispell, MT, who has competed in five countries in the month of September including Ireland, England, Germany, the US, and now Mexico, will continue to compete with CMLL through September 30.
