As part of his final tour for Ring of Honor, ROH officials have given Bryan Danielson the opportunity to hand-select one of his final opponents. While his opponent for New York City had already been announced due to Aries’ actions at the last HDNet TV tapings, and his bouts for both Dayton & Chicago had already been determined prior to the announcement, Danielson’s opponent for Boston on September 25th had yet to be finalized. Danielson’s choice came quick: Davey Richards!
“I’ve faced Davey one-on-one before, but never here in Ring of Honor,” said Danielson. “It’s always been a hard hitting battle when we’ve stepped in the ring together, and he’s one of the guys who forces you to bring your A-Game every time. I would like nothing more than to test myself against Davey, and see if he has what it takes to be the best in the world!”
