Greetings

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer, it's been very hot and humid around these parts indeed. Have no fear, before you know it Fall will arrive and there will be footballs being thrown on Sunday. This blog should have been written yesterday, but due to travel and a need for rest, I'm a slight bit behind...please forgive me. I was able to announce the Friday winner of the Summer Of Honor contest on the ROH Facebook early this morning. The contest still has a long way to go, but don't delay and be sure to enter soon. Like ROH on Facebook, follow ROH on Twitter and hopefully you'll be chosen to win.

What's on tap for this week's topic of discussion? Glad I asked, I'm really getting excited about the next three ROH Events. First up is a huge National TV Taping in Baltimore, Maryland. Kevin Steen is defending his ROH World Championship against former ROH World Champion and a man who is an ROH Original the "Notorious 187" Homicide. Also on that card the "Queen of Wrestling" Sara Del Rey takes on "Princess" Mia Yim. If you've never seen Sara Del Rey live you do not want to miss this opportunity, she is without a doubt the best female athlete in the professional wrestling business today. Let's not forget that the tournament to crown new ROH World Tag Team Champions begins in Baltimore, so far the following teams have been announced: The Bravados, BLK Out, The Briscoes, The Guardians of Truth, Caprice Coleman & Cedric Alexander and the returning Young Bucks, Nick & Matt Jackson. I am going to go ahead and call it now, The Briscoes will become the 8 Time ROH World Tag Team Champions. #DemBoys are no strangers to the gold and are the measuring stick in ROH as far as tag teams go. Get your tickets for Baltimore on August 3rd by clicking here.

ROH returns to iPPV with "Boiling Point" on Saturday, August 11th from Providence, RI, click here to purchase tickets. Kevin Steen if he survives his match up with Homicide, he will defend the ROH World Championship against CHIKARA'S Grand Champion, Eddie Kingston. This match is gonna be a fight. Don't expect a wrestling purist classic like Funk vs Brisco, instead expect a brawl more along the lines of Terry Funk vs Dusty Rhodes. Kingston has been brought to ROH by Executive Producer Jim Cornette for one purpose, and that is to strip Kevin Steen of the ROH World Championship. Speaking of Steen his two cohorts Steve Corino & the "Zombie Princess" Jimmy Jacobs will be taking on the Briscoes and in mixed tag team action "The Prodigy" Mike Bennett will team with his girlfriend & valet "The First Lady of ROH" Maria Kanellis to take on the ROH's first Triple Crown Winner "Die Hard" Eddie Edwards & Sara Del Rey. This card is stacked, so ROH Officials decided to bring it to you Live on iPPV. The iPPV will be available for purchase on August 1st. If you can't join us LIVE in Providence, the next best thing is iPPV!

Finally, Ring of Honor returns to Charlotte, NC on September 8th. The card for the Charlotte event is shaping up to be a must see complete with a steel cage match. I mean really, who doesn't like a steel cage match? If you'd like to be there in person you can get tickets here. I think it's awesome that you are now able to take ROH on the go anywhere you have internet access. ROH has made it possible for fans to be able to watch the weekly TV show, iPPV events and the Ringside Membership (what I consider to be a steal with a $7.99 per month price) where you can watch exclusive video, past iPPV events and so much more on your mobile device, iPhone and iPad.

Remember, for those of you who are already Ringside Members and for those of you who are thinking about it, now is a great time to join as you will also receive a 15% discount in the ROH store where there are always new items turning up and rolling out featuring your favorite ROH stars. You can also get the first shot at buying the best seats for ROH Live Events & iPPVs. Hurry to pick up your gear before these items are a memory.

Hope you are all well and until next week...

See ya -

Patrick
