For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri; min-height: 19px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">The sick man answered Him, “Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me.”</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri; min-height: 19px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">Jesus said to him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.” 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked.</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri; min-height: 19px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">This man laid by this pool for 38 years waiting for someone to "put him in the water"&nbsp; 38 opportunities to be healed. It seems like in 38 years he would be able to figure out a way, or practice before the year is out... Scoot very close something... But no, he was waiting on someone to "Put him in" the water.</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri; min-height: 19px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">Jesus comes and hears his excuse and asked him. "Do YOU WANT to be healed?" I seems like a crazy question I mean 38 years... Duh... Of course he wants to be healed. Or did he just like the attention he received from sympathy? Was he lacking the ability the think for himself?&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri; min-height: 19px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">I've asked myself the same questions. There's no secret that we've been given plenty of opportunities to win the MOST important tag team championships in the WORLD. The real question is do we REALLY want it?&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri; min-height: 19px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">Jesus simply told this man to "GET UP"&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri; min-height: 19px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">This opportunity is on us. No excuses ... We/I've set by the pool for too long. It's time to GET UP! No, its OVERTIME to GET UP!</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">Caprice Coleman</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: Calibri;">&nbsp;</div> http://www.rohwrestling.com/connect/blogs/2013/nov/13/get#comments Wed, 13 Nov 2013 19:41:26 +0000 ROH Wrestling 156781 at http://www.rohwrestling.com A Humble Request http://www.rohwrestling.com/connect/blogs/adam-cole/2013/nov/13/humble-request <div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">A Humble Request<br /><br />There has been a giant misconception about me since I won the Ring of Honor World Championship in Philadelphia at Death Before Dishonor. People have said that I no longer have any respect for anyone but myself. That my actions are selfish and egotistical. Some people have even gone as far as to say I have no honor, and that my actions towards Jay Briscoe and Michael Elgin were so reprehensible, that I am not the true Ring of Honor World Champion. All of you, every one of you, who believe any of the statements I listed above literally make me laugh.<br /><br />You see, I'm perfectly balanced. I have a chip on both shoulders. And those two chips are Michael Elgin and Jay Briscoe. What I did at Death Before Dishonor was a SERVICE to ROH. Michael Elgin and Jay Briscoe are the worst kind of athlete. They are the types of people that can't accept or realize the fact that they can not, and will not, be Number 1. They are cry babies. Instead of looking within themselves and saying "what can I do to be the best?", they point fingers and they blame. They blame others for their own failures. They blame me for being better than they are. That is why Final Battle will be the most glorious day in my entire wrestling career. After Final Battle is over I get to look at every doubter, every person who doesn't believe that I am what I say I am, and that's the best damn pro wrestler on the planet, and I get to shove it in their face. At Ring of Honor's biggest show of the year I prove to these two cry babies that Adam Cole is and always will be the true Ring of Honor World Champion.<br /><br />I think back to that moment in Philadelphia, staring down at both Jay and Michael and thinking that even 6 months prior, I wouldn't have had the guts to stand up for myself the way I did. But a true champion is always learning, and fortunately for me, I have had a great mentor along the way.<br /><br />In the past I have learned first hand from people like Eddie Edwards but there is one man whose opinion I value in the highest regard. A man who taught me that if I want to be the best, if I want to be the Ring of Honor World Champion, I have to take matters into my own hands. He is someone who has been all over the world and even though he never won the ROH World Title when he was an active competitor in ROH, without his advice and inspiration, I would not hold this title. He is someone who was treated unfairly by the system even though he is a real champion... he is a king. A hero to me and his extreme advice motivated me to back down from nobody.<br /><br />Fortunately my friend has more time on his hands now and with Final Battle approaching, I can think of no better place for him to witness all of his teachings come to life. His return will blow the roof off of the Hammerstein Ballroom guaranteed. I invite him to come to NYC and watch with pride as I stand atop the wrestling world as THE man.</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">ROH World Champion</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;</div><p style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;</p> http://www.rohwrestling.com/connect/blogs/adam-cole/2013/nov/13/humble-request#comments Wed, 13 Nov 2013 15:12:46 +0000 Adam Cole 156706 at http://www.rohwrestling.com ITS NOW OR NEVER.... http://www.rohwrestling.com/connect/blogs/2013/nov/11/its-now-or-never <div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">ITS NOW OR NEVER...</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Blog by Cedric Alexander</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">November 16th in Columbus Ohio is just around the corner. On that night Caprice Coleman and myself will challenge, reDRagon for the <b>RING OF HONOR WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP</b> one more time. I think it's obvious to everyone how important it is that we win the Ring of Honor tag team titles, the titles that we have been chasing since we first stepped foot into this company.</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; min-height: 18px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">When Caprice and I first got here no one thought we would go as far as we have, no one believed that we would be successful. But from day one we started to prove everyone wrong. Match after match after match we proved to the world that we were more than just an entertaining team, we proved that we we're a team that on any given night could get the job done and be the best tag team in the world. We have beaten some of the best teams in the world. Teams like The Young Bucks, The Briscoe Brothers and WGTT. Winning the Ring of Honor world tag team titles is so important to us because it proves what we have been feeling for months now, that we are the best tag team in wrestling today.&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; min-height: 18px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">This match holds the future of the C&amp;C Wrestle Factory. Its now or never, do or die for us, we are putting all chips on the table. This could very well be our last shot at the tag titles and we plan to take full advantage of it. For the fans that will be in attendance expect to see different C&amp;C, expect for us to play no games and go straight for the jugular. For all the fans who support us expect your faith in C&amp;C to not be wasted as we will be the NEW ROH WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!!</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman'; min-height: 18px;">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">Cedric Alexander</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;</div><div style="font-size: 16px; line-height: normal; font-family: 'Times New Roman';">&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;</div> http://www.rohwrestling.com/connect/blogs/2013/nov/11/its-now-or-never#comments Mon, 11 Nov 2013 20:50:40 +0000 ROH Wrestling 156241 at http://www.rohwrestling.com
