December 25th: Homicide is your new ROH World Champion!!! Homicide defeated Bryan Danielson last Saturday in Manhattan in one of the most emotional matches in ROH history to win the title. The victory celebration was equal to the Yankees winning the World Series and one of the most memorable scenes in ROH history. Homicide has stated that he will defend the belt on every show and has sent open contracts to other promotions including NOAH and Dragon Gate. The reign of Homicide will begin on 1/26 in the Boston area.

December 25th: Chris Hero has signed as the first client of super agent Larry Sweeney's stable. Sweeney proved his agent skills as he has already secured a World Title shot for Hero. It will be ROH World Champion Homicide vs. Chris Hero in Homicide's first title defense on 1/26 in Braintree, MA. December 25th: We have another big match to announce for 1/26 in Braintree, MA at the National Guard Armory. It will be a battle of two men primed to make an impact in ROH in 2007 as Davey Richards takes on the returning Rocky Romero. This one doesn't need any hype.

December 25th: ROH is gearing up for a huge landmark when we celebrate our fifth birthday. This is a milestone so big that it will be celebrated with six shows over three weeks. December 27th: We have three huge matches to announce for the 1/27 event in Edison, NJ at the Inman Sports Center. You can get tickets for $10 until 10pm tonight at ROHwrestling.com. The first match will shake the foundations of ROH. Samoa Joe has signed one of ROH World Champion Homicide's open contracts. 1/27 in Edison will be Homicide vs. Samoa Joe and if Homicide is still World Champion the title will be on the line. These two former rivals and now friends have a long history when it comes to the ROH World Title. However, now the roles are reversed and it will be Joe challenging Homicide for the belt. If Homicide loses the belt to Chris Hero on 1/26 in Boston you will still see Joe vs. Homicide in Edison. Are you really going to pass this match up for $10?

December 28th: The future of Claudio Castagnoli is currently in a state of turmoil. Last Saturday was supposed to be Castagnoli's farewell to ROH before heading to WWE. However, now Castagnoli looks to remain a regular part of ROH. Castagnoli told the crowd in Manhattan that he and Chris Hero would cause more chaos in ROH in 2007. Hero's new super agent, Larry Sweeney, then stepped in and said that he was only going to represent Hero and that the team was finished. Sweeney then told Hero to leave with him. Castagnoli was shocked when his best friend, Hero, walked off with Sweeney, leaving Castagnoli alone in the ring. This is ironic since Castagnoli walked out on ROH in the war vs. CZW to team with Hero and now Hero has walked out on Claudio. You can see all of this in the new ROH Video Wire. This will be a situation to keep an eye on as we enter 2007.
