Ibushi & Omega vs. Evans & Strong - I guess these 3 could make 'botched spot' Evans look better than he actually is (Roderick has done it many times, Claudio too) and the sheeple would give all the credit to "Jack!, Jack!, Jack!, Jack!"

I think if ROH is going to be competitive with the other promotion running Friday and Saturday night they need to forget about bringing in AAA talent for Mania' weekend and just concentrate on getting some (or all) of the following guys from Japan:
Ibushi
Nakajima
Marifuji
Ishmori
maybe even Kotaro Suzuki

I've got a question:
If they do the AAA thing, and also bring in Nakazawa, should they bring in a lower tier guy from AAA in to face him? |

i think you forget the locale. Phoenix is less than 3 hours from the Mexico border, and having AAA guys there could bring in a good number of the local populace...

I see your point, but I still think that ROH draws better with the NOAH talent than they would AAA. I know they're running in Phoenix, but watch this year's SOH show in Houston and compare the reactions of Kenta and Nakajima to those of Blue Demon Jr. It's a no contest.
I think a one-off show featuring AAA talent would draw well that weekend, but it's my belief that ROH would do better feature the Japanese guys I mentioned, especially for the dvd sales. I don't think they need to bring in all of the guys I listed, but ROH needs to be looking into getting at least two of them if they really want to stand out IMO. |

Agree. There is no debate. The Japanese guys would draw better by far. Tree can't spin that. |
