I just received an email from the NOAH office saying that Kenta Kobashi is doing well after surgery. The tumor was removed and it is believed to be non-malignant.

I know a lot of you want to send a message to Mr. Kobashi. You can leave get well wishes for Mr. Kobashi in this thread and they will be forwarded to him and translated.

Thank you,
Gabe

Get well soon Mr. Kobashi, your work is appreciated and loved here in North America and you are considered in my book the greatest active wrestler today. If Liger can beat a tumour, so can you. Thank you for your years of service and keep on showing your fighting spirit.

Mr. Kobashi,

I was very pleased to hear that your surgery was a success. I owe you many thanks for the tremendous matches you've put on over the years (your match with Stan Hansen is still one of my favorites ever). You are the reason I got into Puroresu in the first place so I also thank you for that. Unfortunately, I could not make either of your American matches, but I have watched them many, many times.

Thanks for the memories, thanks for the sacrifices.

I may not post here much (or at all) and I may not get to watch much ROH (mainly just the Cleveland shows) but I've seen some of your NOAH stuff and all of your ROH stuff, and it has to be some of the best stuff I have ever seen. No exaggerations made. After losing an uncle to cancer recently, I feel for you and am glad that the tumor is rid of. Take care of yourself and stay safe.

Mr. Kobashi, I will make this quite simple. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories you have given the wrestling fans, and your legacy over professional wrestling will never, EVER, be forgotten. Get better soon, for you will always be in our thoughts.

Dear Mr. Kobashi,
As someone who has lost family members to cancer, I know how scary this disease is. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you continue to recover and get better. I only recently started watching wrestling so I am not as familiar with your career as others. However, I was there live for your match in New York City against Samoa Joe and it was easily the most exciting and fun time I have ever had at a wrestling show. I hope that, even if you can no longer wrestle, one day you make another trip to the United States and show up at an ROH show again. Feel better!

Andrew

Your two matches here in Ring of Honor were unbelievable, and we wish you a speedy recovery so that you can continue to entertain and mezorize fans with your in-ring work. Hope that you'll be able to make another trip to the United States, it was a treat.
