| Haha friggin SWEET! That sounds like a match I need to see. I had no idea Nigel was carrying the ROH Pure Title with him while in NOAH... makes it seem like NOAH is starting to embrace the ROH partnership a bit more. I like it! |

| I would guess it was a non title match. |

| Well yeah I thought that was obvious, I seriously doubt ROH could ever convince NOAH to do something as convoluted as the Pure Title rules. |

| Still, awesome exposure for ROH to have their belts on NOAH tapings. |

Obviously wasn't for the Pure title...
But it's neat that Nigel was able to bring the belt to the ring with him.
The thought of pure title rules in NOAH makes me a giggle. |

| NOAH has the strangest taste in foreign wrestlers. |

| I question NOAH putting their champ against a relative unknown in Japan. I'm sure the match was pretty sweet though. |

They are obviously up on ROH if they are bringing in nigel and whitmer...makes you wonder why Joe or someone else doesnt get a chance as well. |

Ahhh, Misawa always has his random booking hat on for tours. It's not like the states, where WWE put on pretty much identical cards for all the house shows.
Also, NOAH brings over quite random Gaijin due to the way they are booked. Harley Race generally makes the recomendations for what Gaijin appear for NOAH, which is why so many WLW allumini appear there. |

I have an off-topic question: Why are the top Japan titles such as the GHC, IWGP, and Triple Crown defended only once every 2-3 months? For example, Misawa's 23 month Triple Crown reign consisted of only 8 defences.
Furthermore, what do the champions do when they aren't defending their titles? |

| The world/heavyweight champions only defend their titles on the larger shows which happen in the larger venues which the promotions only book every two or three months. Notice how the GHC title is defended every Tokyo Dome and Tokyo Nippon Budokan show. When not defending their title the champion is usually in tag matches (especially NOAH). |
