Posted - 04/02/2006 : 14:01:20 I think it would have been pretty cool also. Straightedge v. ravers wouold have worked pretty well. I think it didn't happen because Punk always had something else to do, but if it did happen I think it would have worked to elevate some of the Special K guys. They could get all offended that Punk didn't know who they were even though he obviously did.
Regarding Punk was a main eventer and Special K were low card...well, it didn't stop them from feuding with Low Ki, and besides, Punk wasn't main event the entire time he was in ROH. And even if he was and they were, who cares? I think it would have been plenty entertaining.
Honestly, I thought Special K was great and I wish more of them got chances to shine individually, especially Deranged. |

Posted - 04/02/2006 : 13:52:38 I'm indifferent to this feud - had it happened, then Punk probably loses out on one of the Raven, Steamboat, Prophecy, or Generation Next storylines.
Perhaps this could have happened in spring 2004, with a unique gimmick match as the conclusion. If I were to have booked this feud, it would have been ended with the Saints vs. Hydro, Angeldust, and Dixie. This probably would have been great for so many different reasons - Special K gets the rub, while appearing to be in the same league as the Saints. I could see the Saints winning the feud by the skin of their teeth, and having nothing but respect for the three Special K guys I mentioned. I would also see this as the official end of Special K, as Hydro, Angeldust, and Dixie would vow to change their lifestyles and be serious about professional wrestling, that they would now be men of integrity, discipline, respect, and honor. |

Posted - 04/02/2006 : 13:52:35 I imagine when you'd get down to the basic level of that feud it would be similar to the reasons he feuded with Raven. Of course the matches would be vastly different. |

Posted - 04/02/2006 : 13:50:25 Your right, the whole druggie V.S. Straightedge theme is a built in feud. My opinion is that their was no one in Special K who could match up with Punk in the ring or on the mic. I think it would have had to be a short program. |

Posted - 04/02/2006 : 13:48:06 It never happened because Punk was a main eventer and Special K was a low card act. Also it's Special K and not "Specail K." |

Posted - 04/02/2006 : 13:47:18 Well based on his commentary..He didn't know who any of them were and a feud with sneezy, dopey, bashful, mopey, etc. was beneath him.Well, except for Hydro who was the only Special K kid who went to the gym. :) |
