When I watch it the second time I might add my thoughts.

I agree that Naylor's passion... bleeds through his reviews. Believe me... my passion is there! But, it is definitely more evident in what Naylor writes.

Hey, I appreciate all criticism, positive & negative. Improving my review writing is a perpetual work-in-progress!

Looking forward to what you can bring to the table, Chris!

Wow... I just watched this finally, and I definitely agree with the Naylor and Bobo reviews earlier in the thread. This was one of the most consistently fun wrestling shows I've seen in a long time.

Tag-team wrestling in ROH has never been better than it is right now--- not only because of the great teams, but also the attention to legal men, tag ropes, etc., which was clear on this show. The main event is pretty easily my favorite ROH tag title match yet... though I won't be surprised if GenNext tops it in the coming months.

This also seemed to be a show where the less-established guys truly stepped up: Sydal, Fury, Yang, Pearce, Jacobs... all these guys looked as good as I've ever seen them. It definitely gives me high hopes for the guys who'll be moving into the spots left by Ki, Abyss, and Lethal (though, I must admit, those guys were pretty awesome on this show as well).

ChrisV or JSWO and then guys like Tim Cooke or Naylor are just a different style of reviewing. I don't think one is necessarily superior to the other as it's basically a subjective style. Some would rather focus on replaying the action with a brief thought and rating, and others would rather break down the happenings and psychology a bit more and less on the play by play aspect. It's a matter of preference really.

I might give reviewing a shot this summer, as I have some free time on my hands for once.

That'd be awesome =-o

They show it as shipping tomorrow. I hate doubleshots being released seperately, but that's life. Waitng on 1/14 as well, but I'm DYING to see the Dayton and Cleveland shows.

I just meant that I'm not trying to attack him personally, I just don't think his ratings are very good.

He's 100x better than some reviewers though.

I love it when people say "No offense to...", because that usually leads to someone being offended.

Chris V does a fine job with the reviews. He offers his opinion and sometimes that goes against the popular stance. That is refreshing.

Naylor is the king at this sort of thing. His passion bleeds out over everything without making the reader feel like he is a dunce.

ChrisV is ok if I need to know what match took place when, but I'll stick with Rome, Cooke, and Naylor for opinions on shows. No offense to Chris, I just think his ratings to be off in space most of the time.

I swear Cooke and Naylor reviews are one of the only reasons to come to this board anymore.

They are awesome, but you gotta give ChrisV A LOT of love for being widely read and consistent!

Hopefully have it today or tomorrow or Saturday.

Looking forward to it big time after Naylor's review.

I hope Cooke has some thoughts soon.

Thanks Naylor
